Irregardless of GGG's teams double standards & contradictions...i want to see these muthafukkas fight at full strength...no weight drain excuses or nunna that shyt...
if Canelo has been struggling for the past few years at making 154...160 should be no problem whatsoever...fukk all this politickin...if this fight doesn't happen soely because Canelo doesn't want to fight at a weight he can easily make...that's all on him
@ "fans" on both sides co-signing a continuation of this catchweight bullshyt in the sport.
Canelo doesn't have trouble making 154.
He's been said there's no point in weighing in at 154 when you're allowed to weigh in at a +1 for non-title bouts.
He's also been said that he would have 0 problems making 154 if the fight was for a Junior Middleweight Championship....unfortunately, there isn't any Champion at 154 to fight him right now for a belt (no, a Erislandy Lara rematch, facing Jermall Charlo, or Liam Smith are all non-options).
Also, Canelo isn't on record saying he'd go up to even 156 to face anyone, but yet GGG is on record saying he'd go down as far as 154....so why cant he go down to 155 to face the biggest draw in the sport today since Floyd & Manny retired?
Canelo has never weighed in over 155 lbs, but he should put on 5lbs to face a guy who's the B-side...who's constantly on record saying he'd fight someone at 154 already...who's not willing to budge on any issues in regards to making the fight?
Nah
Canelo will vacate that WBC Championship and still be THE MAN at Middleweight, because he's the Lineal Champion until he loses. I guarantee if Canelo drops the belt, GGG will still be there begging for a payday from Canelo like
which makes all this posturing he's doing ridiculous
