This is huge news. It definitely means Canelo/Cotto is set in stone for May. It also opens the door for Canelo/GGG and/or Canelo/JCC Jr. Canelo could add serious legacy points in the next year and a half. Or he could become another #GoodBoy.

Canelo will lose 2, maybe even all 3 of those fights. I like that he's a cash cow and will fight top comp, but I don't think he has the talent to back all that shyt up. Canelo doesn't have any huge wins. I'm one of the few people who thought he beat Lara, but I can see how others might not even count that win since it's a controversial one.

What do you mean he doesnt have any "huge wins"? He's beaten 2 of the top 3 fighters at 154 at the time....Lara and Trout

Trout was the WBA Champion and ranked #3 at 154 after Floyd and Canelo when Canelo beat him.

Lara was the WBA Champion and ranked #2 at 154 after Floyd and Canelo when Canelo beat him.

To not count a victory because it was "controversial" is not an excuse...especially when I know you count Floyd vs JLC 1 as a victory for Floyd even though JLC 1 had more of a claim to victory than Lara has in his match against Canelo.
