the best solution i found was getting a mohu leaf for the basic channels (fox, abc, nbc, cbs, etc.) get roku or apple tv, subscribe to nextflix, hulu or amazon for shows and movies and subscribe to streaming services for sports (nba league pass broadband, mlbtv, nfl sunday ticket for the computer).

Then throw Madden in the bushes (or eBay)

no it gives u access so u can watch it on your computer. Just hook your computer to the TV and u can enjoy it through there.

1) When will Chromecast be available for purchase again? Figuring I'm going to scoop one up for my BR tv.

2) Should I go with Roku 3 or Apple TV for the big tv? I have HBOgo, MaxGo, Showtime Anytime, Netflix, Amazon instant video, WatchESPN, NBA Gametime, and NBC Sports Live on my ipad. Roku has more apps however I've heard the streaming isn't as good as Apple TV, especially with NBA.

the one plus Roku has is that you can play avi files and every format from your pc, you cant on the Apple TV unless you jailbreak

if you dont care about that then nothing beats the faster Apple TV
