I go to Canada frequently and I was blown away how many immigrants you guys have brought in the last 5 years

I think part of their strategy was that bringing more immigrants and getting them citizenship ASAP would secure more votes for the Liberal party as immigrants historically vitr Liberal and stay Liberal for life. All this would make sense if there was enough housing and services to absorb it all.

And like you said, putting them in hotels, sending money to Ukraine while people are starving, dying in the cold winter streets from frosbite, etc...he failed to read the room

He's a drama teacher. 0 business acumen. Worst was he's a trust fund kid so he grew up with secret service and never needeing to worry about how he'd pay his bills. He thinks Canadians care about climate change and paper straws. He thinks we want to be taxed up the ass so we can pay for his useless pet projects. Canadians can't even afford a place to live. They can't find good paying jobs. He makes deals with corps to hand them money in exchange for not laying people off. They say "fukk you" and still lay people off. He's an idiot. We had schools turning Canaidans away for international students because the brought in more money. The debacle with the fake ass schools. This dude was too busy coming up with new taxes. Absolutely hammered small businesses.

I honestly for bad for alot of them because its hard as hell to get ahead. I remember I worked with this nigerian breh and he was telling me back home he had a driver, lived in a gated community but over here he had to take the bus and lived in a 1bdrm apartment he was paying 1,800 a month. He moved to some cold ass city called regina where money stretches further but this dude was smart as hell the type of immigrant any country would want.

Now consider most of these immigrants now don't even have those qualifications, they work in fast food or drive for uber etc. more than likely they will never be able to afford to buy a home or even save

Personally i could never be against immigrants (I'm the son of immigrants at the end of the day as are most black people living in Canada). But I'm against unplanned, improvised immigration policies. Trudeau really fukked things up...

Yeah man everything I saw suggested that it just got completely out of control and I think everybody kind of agrees that a systemic structured way of doing it is a very good theory.

It just blew my mind how everything flipped on its head and like I said I go frequently and it changed quick.

There's no way you can have your residents of any country who are struggling to get ahead and you're bringing people from outside getting everything from the government.

That's not being racist it's just how people are going to react when they see how things are and what they didn't get versus what other people are getting

cons have allowed lower taxes, hell we used to pay 15% on everything now we pay 13%
rent prices will get lower once immigration is cut, just like as i mentioned during covid rent prices plummeted
