It does not snow much in DC/MD and Florida and Atlanta still have faster growing Caribbean populations except Dominicans who seem to love New England and Guyanese who love New York City and stateNew York is one city. What about PA, CT, MA, NJ, Rhode Island, MD, DC which are all filled with Caribbean people and have to deal with snow every year?
You can add Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Paris and London to that equation also.
Florida itself isn’t beating all those places^^^.
Opportunities is ultimately the number one reason people migrate to places and a better life.
Jamaicans aren’t moving to New York like that anymore, ricans are moving to Florida crazy, Haitians and Cubans number one state is Florida, Brooklyn is still the number one Caribbean spot but soon it’s going to be thrird and fourth generation (and Haitians)
Most of the growth in the Caribbean population in pa , NJ and ct is former New Yorkers.
I cannot speak for outside the us but I know Caribbean immigration has slowed in Canada
