We pay a shytload of taxes. Only thing we get out of it is free healthcare. Other than that, nothing much. They have nothing to show for the amount of taxes they charge us.

I love it here. It's well worth visiting especially in the summer.

Volume. If you’re insured you’re seen much quicker and at greater quality of care.
My last procedure I wasn’t put to sleep, and I felt like I was being rushed through. Small tangent but yeah.
Mental health related wait times are even worse. To get referred to see a psych when uninsured for resources takes over two years. And if you miss a follow up you’re back at the bottom of the list.

Used to go once to twice a year before kids. Love Vancouver. It's one of the best cities in the world.
