He was a kid among elders.

He was there to learn, anakin having "much to learn" was a running theme in the movies.

:gucci:
They were lowkey mocking him and my boy Annie saw right through it.

They saw the potential he had but were always keeping him in check.

He deserved better. :yeshrug:

They saw his potential and wanted him to start learning about the inner workings of the jedi council at a young age. A more mature padawan would have saw that as an honor.

Anakin's immature ass felt like that meant he was better than the jedi and they all knew it and were scared of him. He was proven catastrophicly wrong when obi wan handed him that fade.

Obi wan wasn't even that powerful of a jedi either. Anakin's losing to him proves that the jedi were right about him not being ready.

:usure: Switching sides cost him an arm, both his legs, dikk probably burned off :dame: the potential of his powers and then he gets put in a life support robo-suit enduring constant pain while doing lackey shyt for his boss. That's worse than what he got at the council.

He was reduced to a simple tool of destruction for someone else to command under the sith.

:stopitslime:

He hated his role as vader from the beginning and constantly fought the light inside of him until he died.

Got the feeling breh was trolling so I just opt out the debate :hubie:

Vader went through all that shyt just to throw the man down a shaft and then die. :mjlol: If Anakin overcomes his fear and doesn't fall for Palpatine's bullshyt exposes him instead, he would have ended up saving the Jedi. Would have been a way more epic end for him.

You can and you can't.

He grew up feared by the people who he wanted acceptance from. I get that part.

The part that fukks me up is he still allowed himself to be controlled. When Luke was tryna win him back over, he told him, "It's too late for me, son". So he could have decided his fate but he felt like it was too late to make the change.

Yes

The Jedi wouldn't have done shyt if he came out about the relationship with padme, they'd talk shyt but what were they really gonna do? He wouldn't have been the first grey jedi.

Instead he allowed the Sith to manipulate him into destroying the jedi and killing his wife.
Big reason why a lot of the expanded universe canon had dudes walking "gray" path. Jedi path doesn't really make any sense unless you're a brainwashed child. You don't have to become some robe wearing monk to do good/be good. Sith are just psychopathic bullies so ofc Annakin falls for it, he wanted power.

George Lucas even kinda mentioned/hinted at this in an interview once. I think it was in a magazine or something but the interviewer asked him how he felt about kids falling in love with Darth Vader/Darkside of the force so much and he was basically like "They're kids, ofc they love that side, they want power." The hope being that with time/age they'll grow out of that kinda thinking.

Y'all gotta cut that "grey jedi" shyt out. That was never a George Lucas canon concept and it completely defeats the purpose of there being a light and a dark side. Thats where the struggle comes from, Do or do not. Ain't no "I'll do a little bit of this and some of that". George Already explained this on the commentary for the Clone Wars series.

Qui gon jinn was literally a gray jedi, that's canon.

He was known to skirt Jedi traditions but was still a respected member.

The thing with Anakin is that yoda felt trouble and let a barely new Jedi like kenobi take him under his wing. Yoda should of been the one to mentor him
