He should have felt honored to have a seat at the council before even proving himself ready to be a jedi.
Clearly he wasn't ready because he still had the emotions and logic of a kid, plus obi wan schooled his ass when he actually went head up against a real jedi. A jedi with far weaker force capabilities at that.
He wasn't ready to be a Jedi, and his bytch ass failed to see that. Found out the hard way by losing a third of his force capabilities and being forced to rely on an uncomfortable ass life support suit that he hates. What did he gain by going to the dark side?

Anakin's failure was really on the Jedi, the emotional detachment coupled with Anakin's unchecked God-Complex really was a recipe of disaster brewed by the Jedi.
If the Jedi were that weak and unable to detect a Sith return for decades, admitted their loss of connection to the Force, and failed to keep a closer eye on the Chosen One, then they certainly shoulder some of the blame....
Even when they tried to take Palpatine down and arrest them, they came with the disrespect towards Anakin....

Still feel they botched the prequels with him. His turn could have been much better executed. Shame they didn't already have Ashoka plotted and outlined. That arc was largely responsible for him losing faith in the Jedi and probably made me most sympathetic towards him.
