I know she made her views public but she's also stacey dash. She's as irrelevant as anyone could be.
The same way, war, slavery and all that. They just had monarchs(kings) with absolute power...So how were the majority of the European nations established?
exactly what does it means to conserve? when you get to the meat of it...Kermit is right in a sense
what exactly are you as a blackman conserving?
what white folks mean is they are conserving the 87% of the nation's wealth in this country to them and them alone. This is why in principle the party cannot be inclusive. I've got tons of conservative principles just like many AA's but we aren't allowed in the party because we won't submit to 'keeping the Wealth' of whites locked in. IMO they are something like the Modern day Federalist.
This is why Rev Jesse lee Peterson is trotted out...he understands what the deal is and doesn't have a problem with it.
When you think of it in an economic historical sense you see them for exactly what they are. When they say things like 'traditional values', 'a rising tide lifts all boats'...'take our country back', 'redistribution of wealth'. This is what conservatism means...they have the loot and they don't want you to progress to get it.
I understand some blacks being in that party, some of my family was...but you must tow the line if you want to shine. Those 'principles' are dear to their heart and they mean it. Supporting Conservatism means you can make your money, but never think you are more wealthy, or in control of America. Those rights are reserved for the White Male Christian Power structure. This is what they are trying to conserve.
take a look
The American revolution.
I understand its hard to get past the color of your skin and approach the world objectively, so I wont bother defending this position. I'll just let the evidence speak for itself.
The last 70-90yrs in this country has been nothing but replacing things that work with things that sound/feel good.I support conserving the American Revolution and The Constitution as well.
I also believe in adapting to a changing world with new ideas.

Don't get me wrong, new ideas are great, I just wish we would look beyond stage one, and pay more attention to empirical data.
Its actually a favorable precondition that is often assumed, along with the idea that some evil has come along, made things worse, and now govt. must fix/right it... usually through regulations or taxes.Who says that they don't look at empirical data. Just because the results don't equate to complete perfection doesn't necessarily mean its not the better solution compared to the prior.
But its in our human genetic build to evolve and adapt with new ideas. The "founding" fathers laid out the blueprint and you have to admire how the terminology of that blueprint is worded that leaves much room for future interpretation so we can use it to adapt to changing times.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with her being a conservative if she is, but she never said why she supports Romney. She just said she does, and instead just pre-emptively acted defensive about accusations that she supposed to support Obama because she's black. She dates white men, which there is nothing wrong with in itself. But when you combine it with her bumbling, poorly articulated Romney-Obama comments, it makes ones sense tingle.
It's true that a lot of black people couldn't articulate their Obama support, but that doesn't mean the Stacy Dash thing is a moot point. It gives more credence to the narrative, actually. Many black folk pre-Obama couldnt really articulate why they supported democratic candidates or why they are liberal on certain issues so this is a moot point

I didn't say that though. Not really some people just don't like Obama so to automatically assume that a person is anti-black because they are conservative or dont rock with obama or is GOP is intellectually dishonest
I didn't say that though.
