I never hated Cena, I hated the booking at times. Even through the 5 moves of Doom shyt. Saying that Cena is top 10 or in that super high echelon of wrestling is okay. I try not to even make lists anymore. People do it just to argue. He can put on great matches at times and he regularly cut good to great promos. He's not "my" guy but his talent is undeniable. Dude literally came in screaming on Kurt Angle and everybody saw was he about from jump. Now please stop making threads questioning Cena because i look like a stan right now.

Cena is about as average as average can get as an in ring performer.People talking about he got classics. If you gave the average in ring performer 10+ years of working with some of the all time greats that's ever been in the industry I guarantee you they'll have a couple of classics under his belt at the least.
His classics fueds was against cm punk and Edge who were in rare form around the time they were feuding with cena.
Subway commercials??? They had a pedophile doing them commercials for years.
C/D-list movies. Even kane and big show been in those type of films.

The proof that Cena is not top ten is that anyone that isn't trolling will easily give you 20 wrestlers that are better.
If you're talking longevity, durability and/or merch sales... you can put him in a top 10 conversation.
But if you're talking promos, in-ring work, connecting with the tv audience, working the crowd... aka things that we would normally use to qualify a top 10 greatest wrestler; Cena is completely outclassed by a lot more than 10 guys.

I wouldn't put him in my personal 10 favorites list, but I don't fault anybody that does. At the end of the day it's all opinion, and there's no right or wrong answer. If somebody has New Jack, Mikey Whipwreck, and John Cena as their 3 GOATs more power to them that's their opinion.

triple h has had a far more memorable career than cena. Better matches, feuds, persona, mic work. It's not even debatable
I agree, and he's also mixed up his character and had face/heel turns. The one thing Cena needs to do to join a top 10 list, because doing the same corny ass shyt for 11+ years with no end in sight is boring as fukk
