regionalism and conference pride will always be a thing, but as far as a TV product..... it's far better for everyone else cause now G5 schools have legitimate chances to make it to nationally televised games and the Paul Finnebaum Fox News propaganda holds much less weight for why mid tier SEC teams should get a boost

And that doesn't mean anything, honestly. Many of those kids can & will be gone next year.

I saw a report yesterday Quinn Ewers was offered $6 million dollars to transfer next year. Not sure how true thar is, but if so it's insane.

IMO, if you transfer and sign NIL you should have to sign a 2 year agreement. As long as you have eligibility.
Texas is paying Arch Manning 2-3 million to sit on the bench, so Ewers is done regardless.

Breh the big schools lose their depth but their first and second string are pretty much all top recruits still

If it's a 12 team format where a G5 conference winner has a legitimate chance to get a nationally televised game, that's enough of a chance as any.

Win out, and you don't have to schedule yourself into a money game just to give your kids the opportunity to get a game on a national stage.

My point is a college qb getting $6 million dollars for 1 season is going to ruin things.

They're supposedly going to start capping the team budgets at 20 mil. This year is supposedly the last where it's uncapped, but we'll see. If you pay a QB $3-4 mil and your top OLineman are making $70K to protect him, of course that kid is going to jump on the first team paying him more. Or if ur starting qb gets hurt the backup could be a 2star walkon. Now you just wasted millions

A G5 team has no chance, did you see Boise last night?

I don’t think it will at all. I just think it evolves.

A playoff was supposed to “ruin” things and now it’s expanded to 12 teams.

Title IX was supposed to “ruin” things and now it’s never talked about.

What’s actually ruining the sport is conference re-alignment in the pursuit of a bag. Players doing the same is nothing serious imo.

You don't understand the principles of what college football is based on.

But that's fine. You'll see if it continues to go like it is now, college football will lose a giant portion of fans over the next 3-4 years.

I definitely do… money. The last 25 years amplified that.

I think you are the naive one.

Boy, stop. You aren’t going anywhere. You will just cry about the next change you don’t like.

Not naive.

You tell me what will happen if a QB is paid $6 million dollars for a season, which is more money than some other schools entire roster combined...

You think those fans are gonna be enthused about watching/spending money going to cfb games?
