If I set a job program initiative, to keep hoes from hoeing by giving them a job training path to a decent wages..... but simps constantly protest and lobby against the initiative or increase the amount of money they give to these hoes.....


Is my program the problem here or the resistance against it?

You could make the same arguments against the first few years of segregation. Some of yall have unfortunately. Human behaviors take a while to become habits. There is not magic bullet to end white supremacy.....i mean there is but we don't have enough shooters.

Low key got my job because of DEI, it's funny how everyone in my department is a young white man that style their beard the same way, all in their late 20s/early 30s, that all grew up playing hockey. It's funny, they even come in wearing the same clothes from the same stores.

This black lady that's a clerk told me it was only her here, and she's been here since the early 2000s.

During one of the monthly employee appreciation meetings (excuse to go day drinking at the bar) I guess one of the Program Managers drank a bit too much and thought we were cool enough for her to admit, they didn't hire the other guy because they couldn't pronounce his name, and he was way more qualified than me because he actually studied Civil Engineering.

I don't think DEI was a failure at all. They did a alot of great work in increasing Asian representation in Corporate America. Good job HR

It’s feels racist from the standpoint how white people/Republicans are weaponizing it to mean “if you black or not white, you got the but aren’t qualified other than you check a box of diversity”

Tbh not a big one; no because I studied some type of engineering and my role was an entry level one that basically any college/university graduate could've done. But yes because if you wanna grow in the role you gotta have a deeper understanding of civil concepts that I had no idea of.

Qualification are good tho. Good for job security and actual knowledge, I knew a guy who lied about his qualifications and got a job working on electronic testing devices and basically fukked up a bunch of transmission line testing equipment at a job I had.

It's people who use "qualifications" as a weapon to gatekeeper, so I get what you mean. One of the hiring managers told me always just apply because proper managers are looking to see how you would benefit their team you know.

But like everyone said, it really is who you know.
