It wasnt till USC was put on probabtion for something still not proven that they gained their rep for working big 10 teams (something SC does on the regular) . since the BCS was instituted 1998, we've had 5 different SEC schools win the title (Tennessee, LSU 2x, Florida 2x, Alabama 3x, and Auburn). compare that to the Pac 10 who had only 1 champion (USC in 2004). the Big10 with only 1 champion (Ohio State in 2002). the ACC and Big 12 with two different champions (Florida State/Miami and Texas/Oklahoma).
if the SEC is just living off the glory of its top teams, what does that make every other conference?
just face the facts breh. SEC is simply the best football conference. we won 9 of the 16 BCS titles. no other conference with more than 2. that my friend is DOMINANCE. and it was more than just 2 teams. hell Georgia coulda played in a couple of title games if they weren't in the SEC. they usually gave the eventual SEC and national champ a tougher game than the team the SEC champ played in the national title game.
See rooting for the $ec also affects reading comprehension skills. When you get basically put on the death penalty for something you were accused of doing but the NCAA still hasn't proven and things are taken from you that would other wise keep your program strengthened it will bring you down. The only fans that care about this conference crap is the sec. No one was screaming sec is the best conference when USC was pushing wigs back

the SEC by itself has produced nearly as many unique champions as the other power 5 conferences combined (5 unique SEC teams winning national title vs. 6 unique champs for the other FOUR power 5 conferences combined). along with more titles (9 BCS titles for the SEC to 7 BCS titles for all other power 5 conferences combined).
now that is overwhelming dominance. SEC by itself is equal to the other FOUR power 5 conferences combined during the BCS era.

before Auburn lost to Florida State last year, the SEC had a PERFECT record in national title games against other conferences. 2011 LSU or Alabama woulda beaten anyone else in the title game.
