Can we talk about how the sudden death victory in overtime is the cheapest win in all of sports?

get a stop. its that simple. gb could have gone for 2 and won it in regulation. instead mccarthy played like a p*ssy for the second straight postseason, and will be watching next weeks games from the sidelines once again

The whole offense already had 4 quarters to "give it a shot" :camby: and did you forget they changed it so it's only a TD that instantly ends it? If your defense can't hold a team to a FG when it's absolutely needed, then they didn't deserve the extra period :yeshrug:
The other team also had 4 quarters to give it a shot but it ended up in a tie. However, they get an extra possession to end the match quickly. They didn't earn it, they won a coin flip. The only team that controls its destiny is the team with the ball. Giving each team a drive is only fair and the defence of the other team also then needs to play

watch your punk mouth

I don't even care about either of those two teams . . but what if that happened to your team in the Super Bowl? Then how you gonna feel?

Arizona drove the length of the field and scored a touchdown, there's nothing to bytch about. This isn't the saints driving 30 yards for a FG

I think it makes sense.

A stop + a field goal wins it for the defending team
A touchdown wins it for the offense team

Else it's first to score points. It's basically saying a stop == a field goal for the defense

I think it's def cheap and anti climactic. Rodgers should have been given a chance to tie it up in overtime.

If the 1st team scores a TD they should give the other 1 chance to do the same, if they can't score one on their 1st try as well then they lose.

So why were they making it sound like the playoffs have special overtime rules. Looked the same to me.
