Every Dallas team is trash and each of them has no hope.

Falcons, Braves & United will each win a ring before the c00nboys, Rangers and Dallas FC.

Hawks and Mavs are on the same page but we’ll get there first

Lonzo? Steph?

Mind you Doncic is a teenager, playing in a league full of physically strong grown ass men, and he has great size for a perimeter player. Not many players regardless of race have similarities.

keep naming. in my post I said "on a regular basis". we can debate this if you want and it is easily substantiated. most Europeans dont have above average athleticism but scouts are wowed by their ball skills which allows them to get picked a lot higher than they should on a REGULAR basis. but if they have above average athleticism like Hezonja, then watch out! :mjlol: Lonzo is an ELITE passer with ELITE vision. Steph was an ELITE shooter. these things were certified while they were in college. if they arent elite at any one thing then that list thins out tremendously. Like Greg Monroe, another high pick was an anomaly because of his great ball skills.

the statement you made about Doncic being a teenager is just what I said. this is why he is hyped. a kid playin Euroleague. means he has a high floor...but doesnt mean he will improve drastically or be able to hold his own against elite athleticism. comparing Euro ball to the NBA doesnt yield accurate results. great size for a perimeter player? do you think Doncic will pan out to be better than say Paul George for quick example?

No one said Euros don't get overhyped at times.

You said Doncic isn't worthy of a high lotto pick but compared him to Dragic and Hedo. If this draft has 8 + players better than Dragic/Hedo than its an all timer.

You said non-euros don't get drafted high if they are super skilled yet unathletic yet I can name a few. Doncic is every bit the passer Lonzo is and functionally maybe better given he doesn't have the fukked up shot form and grew up playing PnR.

Lol telling me about Euroleague and NBA like I haven't made way more descriptive post on this subject in the big Doncic thread a year ago. No shyt Doncic's ability to handle quicker longer athletes will be key which is why I've been mentioning ways he could possibly overcome it (shooting, posting up, ballscreens, etc).

Once again, I don't know what Doncic will ultimately end up, all star or bust, but the idea he doesn't have a punchers chance or redeemable skills is detached from reality.

6'8 240 teen guards who are super productive aren't growing on trees.

He was the mvp of the second best basketball league in the world. He should have went #1. He will have a similar impact as Dirk and will go down as one of the greatest Euro players.

so was Kukoc. this doesnt warrant him being picked so high. it guarantees nothing. I personally know guys that have been MVP in other leagues, led whole leagues in rebounding, scoring, couldnt stick on an NBA roster. NBA is a different level. Kukoc was an MVP, scoring champ, 3x Euroleague champ and you know what they called him when I was growing up? the Jordan of the Euroleague. they called Hedo the MJ of Turkey. this is just conjecture used to build anticipation and excitement for players. Kukoc couldnt even make an All Star team yet at one time he was the best player in the world not in the NBA. levels to this shyt.

:what:You serious?

He'll be able to post up smaller players day 1. Against ATL for example...A quick pick n roll with DSJ, get Trae switched on him and that's an easy 2 in the paint:manny:

doesnt really work like that. there are a lot of wings in the NBA that can post up. doesnt mean they do. it goes along with roster personnel and game plan from coaching staff. people always assume this. it makes logical sense what you are saying but application is not as easy as you make it seem. early in the season when the Knicks played Cavs....Bron locked down Porzingas in the post. NBA has elite level coaching to not let things like this just happen regularly. you would not be able to be effective against elite teams in the playoffs.

What are the NBA stats on prior Euroleague MVP's?

kucoc as just mentioned, ginobili...also some NBA players after their careers here, like Dominique and Bob Mcadoo

does seem pretty unique to have done it at his age

And then get his shot blocked from behind by John the Baptist :wow:
