That's not the WWE title. The WWE title is the one Styles is holding. Punk is still the longest running WWE champ of the last 30 yrs., whether Brock passes that number of days or not.

Was what they were doing before any better? KO had a JBL type reign which isn’t designed to make the champion look credible. As for Brock, it’s clear his reign is only being booked to give Roman a dragon to slay or have a heavyweight championship run longer than punk’s was. It’s clear no effort has been put into it by creative so that’s where the frustration should be directed. Brock does pretty much what management asks of him. They don’t want it to be good. That’s always been intentional.

Maybe people are realizing what we've been saying this whole time about Brock. In the long run he's boring. He's okay in small doses, but he's holding the main event scene hostage. He's even made me sick of hearing Paul Heyman's promos and those use to be my favorite things about RAW. Brock is lazy as f_ck in the ring too.

Face it, Brock needs to go away for a long time.

Honestly, this all could have been avoided if they just brought back the World Heavyweight Championship.

The booking would still be shyt, but at least that title has a lineage and you can always build the prestige back up. We have a reason to care about it. Why should I care about this ugly belt when:

-The first champion got injured the night he won the belt and had to give it up the night after
-The second champion was booked like a coward and had it not been for who he was working with, his reign would have been even worse
-The third champion was an old man who won the belt and held it for less than a month just to get fed to the fourth champion
-The fourth champion has had only a few good matches, barely shows up, doesn't talk, and for some inexplicable reason, continues to hold the belt even though he doesn't need it anymore
-None of the former champions have even gotten a rematch

This is supposed to be our second world championship.

LOL. Roman is the only person THEY want to bring the title back from vacation. I do agree about booking to a point. But people don't even have a legit reason for booing Roman as much as they do. "they're trying to shove him down out throat" isn't that serious. it's a laughable reason to boo that hard. People were still booing Roman when he got demoted to the US title, for what reason? And WWE gave people that Oldberg title "'run" and the shyt was trash. All the people that wanted that bullshyt nostalgia got exactly what they wanted then turn around and talk about booking.
