Can we go back to tv shows with at least 20 episodes per season?

I remember tv shows having longer seasons. I looked up some 90s shows.

NYPD Blue: 22 episodes
Married With Children: 26 episodes
Beverly Hills 90210: 32 episodes
ER: 22 episodes

Now, we’re waiting 1-2 years in between seasons just for 9-12 episodes, not to mention these limited series with one season of 6 to 8 episodes.

I never felt they really had filler episodes in those marvel shows, I wouldn't want them to be any shorter.

There's too much content out there. Most show creators hated making more than 10 episodes because it wasn't about the story as much as it was about getting more ads. But like others have said, it works for sitcoms.
