Can we agree that the shield has been booked perfectly so far?

U don't get it. Ur watching a movie about a mysterious killer and the whole movie they point at the killer being 1 person. All signs point to him and then at the end of the movie he's the killer. That's terrible writing. U say the "storyline" was that Heyman and Punk were not "honest" and "real" their HEELS nobody believes their good guys. The Shield should have been aligned with either The Rock or John Cena.

:leostare: That's stupid as shyt... If they're not turning Rock or Cena (which they're not) then why should the Shield have been aligned with one of them? Then you'd have to explain all the other beatdowns too... which would make no sense at all. Why would the Rock give a fukk about them attacking Sheamus, Ryback, Daniel Bryan, Orton, or Kane? With Punk, it makes sense because as champion, he had them attack anyone seen as a threat. Rock would've done it... why?

What would've been stupid is if Punk and Heyman went out there and just admitted it after denying it... or if Shield just came out one day and shook their hands and revealed themselves- which truthfully I was expecting cause the kinda shyt the E usually does with stuff like this. But instead it was a lie that they had going on and could've kept up forever, because no one could prove it. They GUESSED it, but no one had any evidence and wouldn't get any. But then, Heyman and Punk made the mistake of getting rid of someone who was in on it, because they never thought it'd come back on them. And then not only does the truth get exposed, but Heyman continues to deny it even after getting caught which was just :pachaha: The reveal was better than I thought it would be, to be honest.

I'm sorry, I don't dislike the Shield, but I found Nexus more entertaining and better. Also the sad thing is, you can already tell when they split only one guy from this team is gonna go on to be the bigger star

But you found the Nexus better? So I guess you thought Young or Slater was gonna get a better push than Barrett?

I don't get how in the hell people think some Vince Russo swerve would've been a better idea.

Cena being involved would make no sense because when they first came there, they attacked Ryback and still allowed Cena to lose the damn match. I mean sure, #nobodyremembersthat or whatever, but that'd be plain insulting.

And the Rock shyt would make no sense either... first of all because people only boo him for about three weeks. Secondly, because a Rock heel turn is completely unnecessary. Thirdly, because again- Rock would have had absolutely no reason to have them randomly attack people he had nothing to do with.

It's a sad thing when even the good booking is called "terrible"... some of y'all just live to hate shyt. :heh:

Couldnt have said it any better. I think if the E had tried to swerve us with the Rock being behind the shield, initially I woulda been :jawalrus: becaue it would atleast mean a Heel Rock v Cena build up, but given the 3 scenarios, it really makes the least sense. I mean, I guess they coulda stretched it on some, "Rock hired the shield to make sure Punk was the champion at RR so he can beat the so called "best in the world" but :manny:

And the E would have had to fill alot of plot holes which they've shown by thier track record that they simply cant do or if they do they fukk it up EVEN more. The way they handled the Sheild reveal is has good as it can get.

im for one glad wwe took the simple route for this angle SO FAR, theres nothing stopping them from having a swerve soon or in the future though but the ground work for a good angle and the steady/smart booking of this team has been good and deserves credit imo

I don't know about perfectly booked, it's like a roller coaster w/ them, it seems like they have nothing planned and then they make a big impact.

I feel like there has to be a big moment for them at some point.

It doesn't have to make sense, it's wrestling. I know it's been the IWC dream that Paul Heyman leads a group of smark favourites, I get it. But whether you want to admit or not the shyt is up there with the Nash text. It's up there with HHH playing detective after running Shawn Michaels over.

The Shield being lackeys for Punk all along is cheap. I don't care how you try to justify it.

What's the big moment you're expecting? They've beaten up every top star including Rock and Cena... and done all this in two months. Sure they'll have to do more than just run-ins, but I don't really see where they're NOT being booked well in the meantime. They've been a focal point since they got there and showed that they can perform in a big match situation... the only thing they could've done more impressive so far would be to strap dynamite to themselves and blow up the damn arena.

I'm just saying obviously, they'll eventually move past this time period of random attacks, but it's worked great for them so far. Much greater than any plan to bring them up individually and let them have regular matches would have done. That would've been plain, normal, routine... this is something different for a change.

Gotta disagree. That situation, with two semi-retired wrestlers with huge egos butting into one of the hottest storyline in years via #fukkery , is a lot different than rookies being paid by Heyman.

I`m saying they need a big definitive moment, like a revelation of sorts.

Because while they have been beating up top stars, it's been that and that alone for 3 months.

How long can they go on with that before there has to be something behind it. We see now Heyman was paying them. I think they will get that moment @ WM29.
