Though The Nexus was way more enjoyable than The Shield 2 and a half months in

They've done a tremendous job with Shield. It amazes me that they've book them perfectly even though there's no clear plans for them. For once, they have built new people to a point were it doesn't matter if they lose their next big match because they've been well established as a dangerous, solid unit.

Preeeecisely... been saying this forever. Buncha regular muhfukkas who'd fall apart if Barrett wasn't there running the ship with his promos and presence. Which explains exactly why Barrett was the winner of NXT in the first place, and the only one WWE really gave a shyt about pushing.

the shield are just better guys and actually make sense as a group. the nexus just seemed unstoppable, believable, and like they could take over the wwe. the shield is very entertaining but i don't get that same vibe of unless they're on the stick.

the nexus was a different concept than the shield. The Nexus was a gang of insurgents who felt they were being treated like shyt as rookies. Barrett was SUPPOSED to be the only legit one (and otunga). the rest were roleplayers and there to play the numbers again. the shield are only 3 guys, and they're methodical, technical, and strategic. its like comparing nwo to evolution, makes no sense.
