Can Villains truly be redeemed?

yeah.. lex was a little reach but i tried... i was gonna say ZOD but he is a villain. Sinestro isnt that bad

and i put malcolm only to prove the my view being different doesnt make me a villain point.
cause martin vs malcom ... was martin truly a hero and malcolm a villain

Well I consider both Martin and Malcolm heroes. I guess if they were superheroes Martin would be like Superman and Malcolm would be like Batman. Both did good just one gets treated like a pinnacle of peace and the other gets treated like a radical extremist.

I consider Magneto an Antivillain like Mr. Freeze and Darth Vader. Villains but their motives are sympathetic. Malcolm didn't kill anyone though like Magneto has. He was more aggressive than Martin but he wasn't a terrorist.

majority of villains are doing what they think is right and are not out right malicious ...
i would say half are seen that way.
25% are border line and the last 25% are straight up villains.

hell ... they redeemed Vader .. when i was kid he was the ultimate evil...

i think most are redeemable because most start good or good spirited

I consider characters like Batman, Punisher, Hulk and Catwoman as anti heroes. I consider characters like Darth Vader, Mr. Freeze, Hannibal Lecter anti Villains. Anti heroes are heroes but they'll occasionally head into a territory that might disturb other heroes. They might be more willing to use lethal force on a villain than other heroes. An anti Villain is a villain who might resort to villainy to help someone they love like Mr. Freeze and his wife. They usually have their limits though. Like they won't harm innocent people. I think some anti Villains are redeemable
