If group means more than 2 members, I think the main group ahead of them is Wu. There’s not really anyone else fukking with them that’s not a duo.

Bone Thugs, Geto Boys, Tribe, Roots, Naughty, PE, NWA. Not saying all of these groups are ahead of them, just saying they all can argue it. Main advantage Lox has over most of them is that all three members are spitters, while a couple of these other groups are basically carried by their frontman.

I feel like as great as they proved their legacy to be last night, it has never translated to their actual projects, group or solo. This is the thing that keeps them out of contention.

They are definitely cemented, but they'd be cemented so much more if they had albums you could point to as their definitive pieces of work.
