Joe started to touch on this as well
The train of thought in the writing is questionable
He also has the line about mixed kids being cute and within that same 4 bars he talks about his dikk
It's not a good look
You'd hope that's just a OVO tent post-production issue but if he's actually trying to write and doing this then it offers a view of his actual psyche and how his mind works, and I don't like the results of that.
I didnt take the Wayne line that way at all actually. But its more clever if he was giving the double entendre lol. I just took it as him referencing the father like son album, but yes I guess the robbery angle does work. Could care less about that c00n little Wayne catching a stray honestly
But yeah, some of those other lines you referenced like the two mixed kids at the park being cute
? Saying being called "the white boy" kinda got a ring to it
? Even though it was good word play, bad look based on past interviews, past statements, and of course when you got a black face photo out. Also saying fukking white girls helps Kendricks self esteem? Why is he making this assumption about Kendrick, and does it pertain to his father as well? Just feels like hes putting white women on a pedestal here. As I said, his history is why he shouldve stayed away from alot of what hes saying here.
He killed that second part of Family Matters. So it looks like we are all wrong and he shouldve played it as 20v 1. He didnt have shyt on Kendrick, but if he couldve kept bodying the rest of those rappers coming at him,it wouldve distracted from Kendrick whooping his ass
As much as I liked Family Matters, none of those Kendrick disses land. It mostly gets credit for what he did to the others.
"She'll even tell you leave the boy alone, before you get ya head split again"
I thought this line would catch more heat than that Wayne line. Could be wrong, but seemed he was referencing Rhis domestic violence situation.
