Yes, because it is weird to have a yearning for someone that (a) can't consent (b) is naive and can easily be manipulated.
Gays wouldn't compare their struggle to the holocaust? You do know that the holocaust targeted gays, right? Jews weren't the only people thrown in camps. Gays, Jehovah's Witnesses, Roma/gypsies and disabled people were forced into them as well. Gay people were as much victims of the holocaust as Jews.
Gays also face economic discrimination, job discrimination, housing discrimination, public violence and beating, medical experiments, unequal treatment under the law, and the gay equivalent of whitewashing history. No, gay history is not slavery, but to pretend there's nothing in common at all between modern gays and modern Black folks' struggles is pure dishonesty.
Regardless, what makes something a disorder is that it harms the individual who has it, others around that individual, or both. There's no reason for something to be labeled a disorder if it doesn't harm anyone, no matter how statistically abnormal it is. Homosexuality doesn't harm anyone. Pedophilia harms children.

Several people are using words like sick and deviant like those words are easily defined. This isn't physics. Something is only 'sick' or 'deviant' because society decides it is.
There are no rules. Some human societies practiced slavery, some cannibalism, some pedophilia, some abortion, some capital punishment, some homosexuality. Each society chooses what is deviant and what is not.
This society is now choosing to call homosexuality acceptable behavior and bestiality not okay. Who knows what will happen in 500 years? Maybe some future society will think beastiality is just fine. We kill animals for fun or kill them to eat at our leisure. Why not screw them every now and then too? The truth is we have no idea what will decide be 'acceptable in the future'.
So we can't make blanket value judgments like this thing is good and this other thing is bad. Society evolves and changes and these ideas will too.

Because, being attracted to a child involves some form of being attracted to naivety and the ability to exploit those weaker/younger/more than likely less experienced.
That's a perversion in itself.
Even as a friend/regular person, if you are known for hanging out with weaker individuals and those that you can manipulate, people will feel some kind of way about you. Add actual sexual attraction and make it kids, and damn right you're disgusting.

Not true. Many ancient cultures men used to marry little girls of much older men and it was considered entirely acceptable. Its was not uncommon for a king to grant a knight a 12 yo "child" bride as a reward for loyalty in 13th century England. Hell, even in the middle east there are many groups of men that rape and molest young boys in various rituals where boys as young as 6-8 are made to dance for the pleasure of the elders, then subsequently raped. You see, the concept of pedophilia is a relatively modern concept, as many cultures have practiced culturally accpeted forms of pedophilia for 1000's of years, especially in Europe and the middle east.
Its only in modern times were we have decided to cosign some forms of abnormal sexual behaviour, while shunning and deriding others. I'm certain that as hollywood conditions people into accepting beastiality as being "cool" or the "in" thing, eventually beastiality rights groups will emerge and we will have politicians (likely democrats) to begin pledging their "undying" support to the Pro-beastiality movements. Hell we'll likely even have the inevitable comparisons of the beastiality movement to the civil rights movements.

He's not sick, he's was just born that way. I personally find it disturbing that society feels compelled to interfere with what he chooses to do behind closed doors.

What are you talking about? Haven't you heard? Dogs are now considered humans and kids as young as 8 are allowed to determine their sexual orientation. You seem to be behind the latest "research" friend.
Furthermore, if a boy as young as 8 can chop his dikk off because "he wants too", why the fukk can't they consent to marriage or intercourse with adults?
Anything I say isn't going to change your opinion. We all know this has nothing to do with pedophilia or bestiality, due to you having homosexual tendencies that you're desperately trying to hide you must lash out against your own people. whether a pedophile is born that way or not is besides the point. In our society, having sex with children is unacceptable and I think we can ALL agree here that two homosexual adults having sex isn't the same as a pedophile having sex with a child.
