What studies? Honestly, what are you talking about? I'm not interested in justifying homo behavior. I just don't think there's anything wrong with it. And yeah, there were homos in West Africa, both pre and post-Muslim/Christian. We already have enough evidence of that. There were some people and societies who were ok with it, some in which there were even gay rulers, and others who weren't ok with it, just like everywhere else. The first comprehensive anti-homosexual laws in West Africa were created by European colonial authorities. There were always homos in every human society. If all humanity comes from Africa, then the first homos were from Africa, too. Same-sex behavior existed before humans did.
