dunk and its not even close. i hooped last night at 24 and there was a mini dunk contest going on the side during the actual pickup game.
THIS WOULD BE LIKE GOING TO SOME SEMI PRO BASEBALL GAMEAND COMMENTING ON THE HOMERUN DERBY THEY HAD DURING BP.
OF COURSE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY PLAY BASKETBALL CAN DUNK.
THE SAME WAY PPL WHO PLAY BASEBALL
CAN HIT HOMERUNS.
THERES PROBABLY MORE BASEBALL PLAYERS THAN BASKETBALL PLAYERS
DUE TO THE SIZE OF ROSTERS
SO THERES PROBABLY MORE PPL ON EARTH
THAT CAN HIT A HOMERUN THAN DUNK.

DUNKING WOULD BE PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR MOST OF THE POPULATION
DUE TO HEIGHT.
SOME WOULD ATLEAST HAVE A SWINGERS CHANCE WITH BATTING PRACTICE PITCHES.

Hit a home run, I know people who hit Home runs during causal softball games, hitting a HR off of battling practice balls shouldn't be that hard.

the only limiting factor for dunking is height. at about 6' 2" even if you're out of shape there's no way you couldn't dunk..
hitting a home run takes skill beyond just power. a lot of strong mf's couldn't hit a homer.
average height in the us for males is 5' 10"

6'1 could barley touch the net.
I went to a foot specialist a few years back and they told me I had flat fee bad.
Couldn't jump but was still athletic
because of boxing and I still got respect and always got picked when I did play ball

If you don't play baseball regularly, you have no chance at hitting a Homerun out of an MLB ball park. BP pitches require solid contact and a harder swing, which requires better hand eye coordination. While its slower, and you may be able to square the ball up better, your going to need some strength, because you can't use the balls velocity. How far a baseball travels is dependent on the pitch and bat speed. To hit a BP pitch at 30 mph out a mlb park, you would need a bat speed of about 160 mph. For perspective, Albert Pujols has an average bat speed of about 88 mph. That's half of what's necessary, and he's an elite pro. Now to be fair, BP pitches are prolly closer to 55-60 mph, so it would take less bat speed, but even then, the average person aint generating enough, while keeping good enough control over the bat to make solid contact. Aint a lot of us play baseball, so I understand why some say dunk, but it ain't even close.
Where are you getting those numbers? I've seen people hit home runs off a tee and they were not Albert Pujols by any means. Pitch speed and bat speed are not interchangeable. If you take a 90mph swing on a stationary ball it can go over the fence. If you throw a 90mph pitch off a stationary bat it might go 10 feet.

I'm 5'9" and it'd take several months of plyo work/leg days to be able to dunk.

Think I got a better chance of pulling one of these juiced balls 315 feet to left field.

I doubt there are many mlb pitchers who couldn't hit a home run on a batting practice pitch. It doesn't require perfect mechanics or above average strength.
More people can dunk. Anyone that is saying more people can hit a HR is delusional.
