Serious question, outside of LeBron who is 6'9 and maybe one of the most athletic players the NBA has ever seen, what team has won with a team playing heliocentric ball like the Mavs are doing?

What's funny is it's not like Bron didn't need Kyrie, Wade, Bosh, AD, etc. to win. Those players were big for those rings.

Players like Harden, Luka, etc. being a single offensive hub don't win rings although they'd be classified as "unselfish" types who rack up assists.

Offense isn't really the problem tonight, even though I agree with your argument.

These guys are getting torched defensively and crushed on the glass.

There's some things to like down the stretch for the Mavs. Offense started attacking quicker and Luka was giving up the ball more, facilitating more movement. They scrambled better on defense but Luka's dogging it on that end. He's probably gassed from carrying the load offensively (and playing 44 minutes) but he's gotta start boxing out at least.

As a team, they gotta crash the boards. They're outmatched and outsized everywhere so it has to be a team effort on the glass.
