Serious question, outside of LeBron who is 6'9 and maybe one of the most athletic players the NBA has ever seen, what team has won with a team playing heliocentric ball like the Mavs are doing?

What's funny is it's not like Bron didn't need Kyrie, Wade, Bosh, AD, etc. to win. Those players were big for those rings.

Players like Harden, Luka, etc. being a single offensive hub don't win rings although they'd be classified as "unselfish" types who rack up assists.

Agreed. It also handicaps what types of players you can build around them. You need specifically 3&D guys and a rim running big.

But that hurts in the playoffs - those shooters can get streaky, and can't make their own shot, meanwhile the rim running bags can't punish small ball lineups.

EDIT: Giannis, kinda :francis:
