eh, they had to get extremely lucky. the rockets hit some of the most impossible shots in Game 5. Not only that, everyone talks about how CP0 got injured being the turning point. let's not forget Iguodala got hurt and also had to sit out. The rockets got blown out w/ CP0 healthy in Game 3. Warriors even said they had them figured out until iguodala went down. Then they had to play rookie jordan bell a ton of minutes.

I say all that to say, the rockets had to get extremely lucky to even get to G7.

Besides, it's not just the Warriors. The Clippers beat the Mavs 2x. Sooner or later, some team is gonna beat that system. Kobe already said that it's not a winning strategy

lol @ lucky.
lol @ comparing igoudala to cp3. If steph, Klay, KD, and draymond can’t win games without role player iggy then they are the most overrated stars of all time. Stop the bullsh!T and give the rockets their props.

Steph one of the best Western Conf Finals performers of all time, which makes it hilarious that his corny ass haters try to claim he doesn't show up in the playoffs

Any other player putting up those numbers they getting their faces hung up on murals in city hall.

Now you got cats in here crying about what if’s in 2015. The thing about the Warriors is their run wasn’t telepathed.

There’s not one sure fire hall of famer from the onslaught like Tim Duncan and David Robinson. Duncan did what he was drafted to. The Spurs run while not predicted is about to look way less impressive in hindsight. And no one got it right. Not any of the experts. Not any of the pundits.

Still to this day ppl are trying to define the Warriors, quantify their achievements, and downplay it because none of their players looked the part

The so called blueprint entails getting Draymond suspended, Bogut injured, and Harrison Barnes missing every wide open shot he takes.

That ain’t no fukking blueprint. :mjlol:

I've always said that if Harrison Barnes didn't play like shyt that series, then the Durrant trade never happens.

lol you have no idea what you’re talking about. do you think they just leave curry on an island ? the whole point of isolating is to get the defense to collapse, which it will, then you can kick it to the open man. They have to make the shot. the warriors keep multiple bodies between the paint and the rim. The grizzlies shot a ton of three pointers also. there was NOTHING wrong with the game plan. They got exactly what they wanted they just didn’t finish plays. If they made the shots this game wouldve looked like game 7 vs the suns.
I agree, game 3 should've been a flood for Dallas if they convert....but what y'all and everybody always seem to forget when teams go cold like that against GS is that at the end of the day, these dudes are human. And guarding the multiple actions and CONSTANT pressure GS puts on a defense play in and play out, quarter in and quarter, game in and game out wears on your legs man

he made it to the WCF finals with Brunson as his number 2 and a bunch of no names

hell Harden almost beat the 2018 Warriors to get to the finals

the idea that "heliocentric offense doesn't work in the playoffs" is bogus, Warriors are just the one team that's really good at countering it

I don't think I said anything about working in the playoffs. I said I hate that style of play and hope it dies.

Let's not forget having Lebron and Kyrie playing at their peak for 3 straight games. The blueprint is all there for any team to copy. :troll:

Facts… Steph has literally exposed these talking heads as biased hot take artist to the point where he received not one vote for FMVP in 2015 yet was the best player on the team that won but somehow another player got it because he held Lebron to 36ppg..

2018 Steph was the best player for literally 90% of that series but somehow one game was held against him when in reality if it was someone not him they would have won it even with a bad game or two.. I can’t wait until when Steph hang up his shoes along with Dray and them and they go on a nice tour calling out all those clown ass hot take artist in the media..
