What was his job at the time
On the same day, the NBA responded to Hardaway's comments by removing him from its All-Star Weekend activities later that week. His employer, Trinity Sports, owner of the Anderson-based CBA Indiana Alley Cats, dismissed him from his position as Chief Basketball Operations Advisor,[18] and the CBA issued a statement distancing itself from Hardaway's remarks.

I can't say for certain but it also seemed as if he was being groomed to be a big time NBA analyst too

unlikely...

I haven't heard anyone say anything interesting on an ESPN Radio interview since then probably lol...

but even in the podcast/youtube world, it seems unlikely unless you making a full on political statement and something like that would be coming out as an ideological social conservative... it's unlikely to happen on a non political platform.

but like outkick or some ben shapiro show where fatlock works now, sure.

In April 2013, when Jason Collins came out as the first active openly gay male player in a major American professional team sport, Collins said that Hardaway called him in support of his homosexuality.[21] In July 2013, Hardaway was the symbolic first signer of a petition to put a proposed amendment to the Florida State Constitution overturning Florida Amendment 2 and allowing same-sex marriage in his home state of Florida on the ballot in 2014.[22]

He knows how his bread it buttered though.

The gay and trans agenda is only being pushed because they are disrespectful to black folk.....they were like "ohh yeah, you want civil rights? well we gonna give civil rights to everybody.....even the ones who we think are mentally ill". I saw a pride flag at my job for pride month, but i ain't see the black, red and green for black history :mjpls:

shyts funny but it is kinda weird when you think about it. I can understand being indifferent, or even not being able to relate. But hating is extra shyt that doesn't really add up for me. Thats more emotion than some benign shyt like that is worth. Its been said for ages, but it really seems like it would be driven by either insecurity, or being closeted. Otherwise, I cannot see why any man would devote even THAT much energy or emotion towards the shyt like that.
