There's always cases that can be made. To win a case though, you'll have to have undeniable proof. Which is not the case here.

nikkas love "in my opinion"-ing their way out of a debate. Indiana Pacers era Paul George was my favorite player at one time but I'm not gonna lie to myself and say he was better than Bron lol

Fukk this thread

For me, DMX is absolutely better than Nas. To those that don’t agree, I ain’t arguing with ya. It’s all preference. But don’t sit here and act like Nas has classic album upon classic album. It isn’t outrageous for someone to feel and connect more with DMX

they dont want to have the discussion in the bolded.

i also find it funny how lonzo ball had the internet in a frenzy talembout "history" when he said he didnt like Nas, but people conveniently gloss over how he had DMX in his top 5.:sas1:

What a stupid thread, I mean seriously you can’t just say some dumb shyt like this, be young as hell, so you wasn’t outside when nas was in his peak and expect to be taken seriously. DMX was the man 98-2001 but guess what? So was nas. Like yea 98 X was a breath of fresh air and we were all fans but at no point did I ever think he was better than nas or Jay.

And we have to stop pretending like IWW was a step down from Ilmatic because it wasn’t. The bigger song was on IWW. X had one classic and two really good albums. He had a ton of fire features tho but in no way was he ever on nas level at anything. When you speaking about rappers from that era you need to survey people that were outside in 98 and not a bunch of 21 year olds.

Nobody glossed over who he had in his Top 5. His Top 5 wasn't in question. Lonzo Ball kept talking about Nas and was very dismissive of him. Calling him outdated, overrated, etc.

Nas might be the "better rapper" but you felt DMX a lot more.

he's like :pachaha:in that regard.

Jay and Nas could only dream to have that type of effect. to touch people on a real, emotional level :mjcry:

Nah, DMX still a legend and in my top 5 tho

slightly off topic but I don’t think Nas has an album that’s worse than undisputed either

:usure:

nas was hit-or-miss as hell during that time period(and basically his whole career)

where were you at??

nah

the internet tried to make it into an old school/new school thing simply because he didnt like Nas.

thats why they conveniently ignored that DMX was in his top 5 along with 50 cent and others.

and the only reason he "went in" on nas, is because somebody was trying to force Nas on him. basically what people do on here.\

and he aint lying. nas been outdated for the longest and his catalog is certainly overrated.
