if Jim literally just said it's great to see Cam succeed outside of music and glad his brotherhood with Mase is back...and even laughed along with the 50 shyt, he could've been a fukkin guest this year on the show and laughed it up with them.

that's not Jim Jones though.

Jim actually gave them props & congrats during the interview and in a bunch of other interviews, even though Cam & mase never reciprocate.

He is. Cause Cam don’t wanna REALLY violate him. Like I said in the other thread to the other nikka. Any nikka who remotely been around nikkas know Jim wasn’t some Harlem enforcer. That shyt was the biggest joke I ever heard. lol.

I've never seen Jim jones claim to be an enforcer, like ever.

He said he was a soldier and he brought in the soldiers. Even Cam gad to credit him for the latter.

At least Cam acknowledged that the Dips run was short AF like leprechauns and the bickering and beefing has gone on longer than the momentum they had.

Since when is 5-6 years a short run? That's beyond the max for a strictly organic run.

NAH THEIR ISSUES STARTED
FROM CAM CLOWNING JIMMY FOR WIFING CHRISSY.

AFTER JONES WAS JUST LOOKING
FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET
FROM UNDER CAM SO WHEN THE
50 shyt POPPED OFF HE SAW HIS CHANCE.

:mjlol:CAM WAS THE LABEL HEAD
WHY WOULDNT HE WANT JONES
TO DO WELL AND PUT BREAD
BACK IN HIS POCKET?

That's Camron claiming that the issue started over the Chrissy jokes.

Nobody wants to talk about what Jones himself stated was the reason for the fallout - which is in better alignment with the timeliness. And people forget that juelz was right there with jones and had a similar fallout with cam.

And jones was not under Cam when the 50 thing happened. Jones & Cam weren't rocking like that for a couple years by the time 50 cent came in the picture, and jones was clearly a bigger star than Cam during that period.

Even before verses cam and dipset was not wining against the Lox… Lox catalog way too vast for dipset

In other words, the LOX were able to play a bunch of songs from OTHER peoples' catalogs most of the night. LOL.

:russell: I repeat….

This is not jay vs Nas. These nggas are apples and oranges talent wise. So the fact we even having a discussion, regardless of tge side you stand on, means Jim ‘Leveled up’ on Cam. Bc he’s nowhere NEAR as talented, funny, charismatic pause, etc as Cam. Yet here we are 36 pages later talking about Jim jones in 2025.

I question when some of yall were introduced to Dipset. :childplease:Some of you the ages don’t even match up nggas was 10 during prime Dipset and these formulaic analytical takes reflect that. Bottom line Jim was the ‘who tf is that wild Spanish lookin Ngga with the perm throwing money’ random dude. The fact he he went from that to in some way shape or form being close to Cam in fame/standing/sales/cHaRtS = a W for Jim
I don't understand how cats think that reminding people that Jim was the flunly/sidekick is sometype of win for Cam.

Can you imagine that you fell off so hard that your flunky start making better music than you?

Imagine if Jay-Z fell off to the point Bleek started making better tune than him?
Or Jungle making better music than Nas

shes always had an old face but yea has seen better days smh

ironically, her jim and stack look like they all related to each other lol

She always looked like Jim to me too. HAHA!

But back in the day, she was pretty decent from the neck down. She had some health issues and that aged her crazy.

Nggas corny tho.

Up until a year or so ago you wouldn’t even know to ‘not like’ Jim. How are you a Dipset/cam fan but can magically flip on Jim jones? Even with the lil cold war, they were on each others most recent albums :gucci: Also there was a video of them chilling together a year ago (lookin awkward)

Also if that’s the case how are nggas listening to IIWII?!? Cam violated Mase WAY worse than he just did Jim

:mjtf:

Okay.

Exactly.

And that’s what’s so annoying is all this grandstanding and front running. Ain’t no bigger Cam fan than me pause but Cam was not poppin mainstream from about 2008-2020. Full stop. Partly by choice Cam just always chose obscure ventures rather than the easy route (a lot like Dame). Ie, nggas would like to forget about this period

Yea :stopitslime: Meanwhile Jim was on Love n Hip Hop and we can joke all we want but that made Cardi B among others. Oh but now that Cam up again it’s ’Pft who is this Jim jones character’.

Literally on some ‘Hey Cam! 👋🏿 dikkriders

Why are you confusing what he said?

Everything he talked about was before his debut not after. He's talking about the Children of the Corn days. Jim was not in the fold then. They knew each other but he didn't get into their circle until later.

If Jim was 19 when he got down with them that was 1995. Cam said he started coming around when their freestyles took off in 1995. Confessions of Fire came out in 1998.

What are you arguing against? His whole point is Jim wanted to be down with them because they were buzzing so how was he dikk riding Jim? He was getting on whether Jim was there or not. Cam was established well before Diplomats yet he's acting like he made Cam. That's all he was saying.

I think the point is Cam is playing down the bolded.

Everybody has people they knew that grew up in different cities, went to different high schools but, you know them. Cam made Jim sound like a stranger with the "I didn't grow up with you" comment. The reality is Jim sounds like he was an associate/family friend/somebody from around the way that he hung out with sparingly and then they got extra tight after high school.

HE DIDN'T MAKE IT SOUND
LIKE THAT AT ALL...

JIM WAS TALKING ABOUT
HE WAS THE BRAINS AND
FASHION BEHIND DIPSET ON THAT POD.

ALL CAM DID WAS POINT OUT
THAT nikkaS WERE ALREADY POPPING
AND JIMMY LATCHED ON LIKE A GROUPIE
OFFERING HIS CRIB AS A HANGOUT SPOT
FOR THE GROUP

Jim Jones said he tried to get Stack to move. Stack was riding around in a Porsche in his hood. I have a hard time believing he couldn't move if he wanted to. And as one of the few Bundles stans on sohh, If I judge from his music i wouldn't be surprised if Bundles didn't want to stay there. Seemed like he felt like the king out that way. Some people have a hard time giving that kind of respect up for safety. And in fairness I don't think he was killed by people from his hood irrc. But of course things aren't always as they appear,so maybe he was really too poor to move out the projects. I just kind of doubt it.
And Jim is pretty much saying in these interviews that he didn’t have no money fr. He was signed to Koch who was fake Indy and raping him. Cam pushed him there and let him sign all rights to pub away ect.

On top of having to pay cam millions to get his name from him.

And if you got a porsh and living in the pjs even before the static you irresponsible fr

Even if he wasn't as popping and Juelz and Cam at that point, he still had his own influence, a lot of people in NYC was influenced to join a gang because of him, nikkas were using "kufi smack" as slang because of him, Crunk Muzik and Certified Gangstas are Dipset staples and those were the 2 singles from his debut album.

Ngga. What side of the argument are you on?!? :laff::dead:

Yes Ngga, yes. Thanks!

‘Acting like he was freaky zeeky’. Ngga she STARTED as freaky zeeky. The street muscle and high jinks—-as Envy just stated for those who needed that co-sign—-but then made the most of every small opportunity and leveled up to where for a brief time he equaled or surpassed Cam. As you just so eloquently stated

Nggas be so pressed to argue they switch sides mid way :bryan:
