Jim should have smacked Cam up but then his Harlem pass would have definitely been revoked…

Cam already ethered Jim years ago.

At this point, he should ignore him.

If Jim was a real friend, he would have admitted that he screwed up

That 50cent shyt was very wack of Jim Jones,no way around it. But Cam was flailing and looking embarrassing and desperate out here. Jim probably decided to distance himself. And had a clear conscience after remembering how Cam distanced himself at the Rucker:mjlol:

People will often remember a reason to cut you off once they up and don't need you anymore:mjlol:

And Jim definitely leveled up over Cam with Byrdgang plus making one of the top 5 rap hits of all time.

I agree with the rest but not this. The game was moving more towards personalities moreso than pure rap skill, and Jim was a personality pause :manny:

Also he brought unique angles to the game. The biker/rock star look, plus wasn’t no east coast nggas reppin blood with the west coast persona. Need we remind nggas this was most people introduction to Jim in the rap game

:wtf: Debut single an Easy E flip featuring Game and a pimp perm. shyt was hella confusing which = attention and views. Gotta give him credit, he made himself a lane

I like Jim and was listening to him. IJS, Cam was rapping on Fruity Loops beats and putting no effort whatsoever into music in the mid 2000s. If he was still putting out high quality music like CHWM and PH, he might’ve still been hot. But either way, Jim was doing his thing then. No arguments there :manny:

I dont know why nikkas are believing Cams :duck:

Its funny too considering Cam tried this “he aint from Harlem” shyt w Mase too when they was beefing bc Mase was born in Jacksonville. But now Ma$e is solidified Harlemite because they cool and on a podcast together
Cam is just saying jim wasnt around like that for the children of the core era or before. Sounds like he came around full time right around the time mase got his deal with bad boy. Which is very late considering Cam hung around mase and some of the other guys since he was a child.

:mjlol: This part was funny as fukk

But Cam capping by acting like he ain’t grow up wit Jim like that and he not really from Harlem cause why he only saying this now? For 20 + years Jim repped Harlem wit him now he not from there? :comeon:

A nikka having a free crib not gonna make him become ya mans like they were. They were obviously cool before that and Cam knew Jim growing up but he leaving that part out :mjlol:

CAM SAID THE SAME THING 8 YEARS AGO
AFTER JIM WAS CRYING ON FLEX

THERE WASNT MUCH NEW
INFORMATION IN THIS REPLY

The vibe I get from them is that Cam was temporarily envious when his weed carrier got more popular than him in that 2005 to 2008 period but at the same time Jim was feeling himself extra hard and acting cocky (which is why he foolishly went around 50).

:mjlol:YALL nikkaS AND THESE
FICTIONAL TIMELINES

BALLIN CAME OUT
IN OCTOBER OF 2006...
JIMMY WAS ON STAGE WITH 50
IN JUNE OR JULY OF 2007
AND DIPSET WAS OVER.

IT HAPPENED THAT FAST.
JIMMY GOT A LIL HOT
AND ENDED THE GROUP
WITHIN 8-9 MONTHS

The shyt with cam was funny. But you know he using his charisma to by pass shyt fr.

This. Cam is always gonna win a internet battle

At the end of the day theres like a handful of indisputable facts and then the rest is personality and entertainment:

-Cam was on before him. Jim was always cam lil homie
-Jim from Bx and moved into Harlem
-Mase taught Jim how to rap
-Cam chastised Mase for the better part of 10+ years while Jim was his mans
-Jim is street certified even if it’s purchased, and those blood ties probably held Cam down
-Cam pretends that never happened. Cam is probably a psychopath as far as interpersonal relationships
-Bc he calmly funny af, Mase dodges any type of smut despite having more skeletons than any of em :patrice::dame:

For the love of God what does this mean in the case of Jim Jones??

Nobody is awaiting new Jim Jones, playing it outside or talking about him amongst relevant rappers.

Cam could be as good as dead but 98-06 for him trumps anything Jim could possibly do
Still sad how Camron career just went flat like that , purple haze 2 was embarrassing
I’m just waiting for that one nikka who claims Jim is really some tough guy to weigh in on this
All rappers are playing characters my guy …all of them :mjlol:

Jim jones did do okay without Cam,what has Cam done musically without Jim around. You have two choices, credit Jim or the Roc Chain:sas1:
one of my favorite eras of cam jim wasnt even in the picture which is the vado/araabmuzik era

even at jim jones peak he never sold more records than cam on a decline when he dropped the same year, hustlers pome or prey iv reign never sold more than killa season and crime pays during the years they dropped

shoutout to his ghostwriters tho
