The vibe I get from them is that Cam was temporarily envious when his weed carrier got more popular than him in that 2005 to 2008 period but at the same time Jim was feeling himself extra hard and acting cocky (which is why he foolishly went around 50). That’s a bad mixture. Cam should know though he’d always be the more talented rapper of the two. The only reason why Jim was “hot” during that period was because Cam stopped releasing mainstream projects and was falling back.

I agree with the rest but not this. The game was moving more towards personalities moreso than pure rap skill, and Jim was a personality pause :manny:

Also he brought unique angles to the game. The biker/rock star look, plus wasn’t no east coast nggas reppin blood with the west coast persona. Need we remind nggas this was most people introduction to Jim in the rap game

:wtf: Debut single an Easy E flip featuring Game and a pimp perm. shyt was hella confusing which = attention and views. Gotta give him credit, he made himself a lane

This is why Banks and Yayo don't wanna disrespect 50 publicly. You can't win against nikkas that really know you :dead:

50 and Cam are two of the pettiest nikkas in Hip Hop…

They’re not gonna take the high road on cats.

Banks is handling it the right way though. 50 was a dikkhead for not handling Banks the right way. I understand that he had a issue with his album underperforming due to him mourning his Pops and that he needed to get back to work before the game moved on but you could have pulled him aside in private like a man.

Your brother and you have a disagreement, keep it in house even if u have to distance yourself but u don’t take sides against the family ever.

Jim violated that rule and if I was Cam, I would have cut all communication off back then rather than do these fake reunions.

The Verzuz battle showed us that the Dips weren’t really united and still in disarray.

The Lox probably had family issues but u never see Sheek not ready to defend his comrades. He plays his position no matter what.

Jim was weak for that. If it was the mob, Jim would have been “taken care” of.

The Capo should have made sure that Max was str8. Your writer should have been eating like u are.
The funny thing is multiple ppl told him back then to take care of your ghostwriter(max). Tru Life dissed Jones for the situation Max was in(max a grown man and responsible for his own decision) when he first got arrested… Joe Budden was warning and telling stacks to get away feom
jones and his situations becaue he ain’t treating you right for what you doing over their in that camp

It's funny on some level, because of Cam's charisma and delivery but this shyt is lame to me. All of them.

You can do this with anybody or anything. I can say oh we wasn't really friends, I just used to stay at his house all the time because he was nice. Oh I just liked that his Dad used to take us to movies, but we weren't really boys like that.

Childhood friendships aren't formed of anything more. It's all feelings and proximity. "oh we was only cool because we lived on the same block, and used to walk to school"

All the gossip gay shyt. All the responses, all the responses to the responses. For social media content. These dudes all sound like lames to me. Downplaying your childhood friendships for laughs and views.
I agree but what do you want cam to do after a while?

Yall being purposely obtuse or yall just stupid, pick one
:comeon:

Cam’s DC shooting is a pretty airtight contradiction my guy. Ain’t no ‘obtuse’ shyt

If they did indeed send them shooters at Cam:

1) Cam snitched, 2) he reunited with jay at that concert, 3) jay also checked his temperature :umad: ‘see what can happen when we don’t run with fake beef’. 3b) Cam said he didn’t know how to take that, but just backed all the way down real diplomaticly ( :myman:) ‘thank you for everything you did for me’.

If they DIDNT send shooters,

1) Cam snitched. 2) Cam lied, 2b) why did Cam try to get some nggas jammed for shyt they didn’t do

Also do remember Cam knew jay via dame outside of rap, so thats far more of a personal relationship than the avg rap beef

Jim should’ve never went back once he left, and slapped Cam or at least Duke Da God while he was at it.

People usually treat you how they met you, and after everything, Cam still sees him as the fanned out Spanish nikka he saw him as 30 years ago.

All the crying is making it worse.

Jim should have smacked Cam up but then his Harlem pass would have definitely been revoked…

Cam already ethered Jim years ago.

At this point, he should ignore him.

If Jim was a real friend, he would have admitted that he screwed up

Both of his supposed "Lil nikkas" got more popular than him. We ain't forget "Ballin" or that run Juelz was having. When Wayne decided to do an album with Juelz instead of him,and Jay acknowledged Jim while dismissing Cameron? That had to hurt:mjlol:
