"What was your reaction? Like, did you say stop? What do you do when a strong ass n*gga with a tight suit smacks you on the ass...?"

If I had to guess he mentioned Avatar because it was the highest grossing Hollywood movie, and The BLair Witch Project was at one point the highest grossing independent film.
if cam freestyled those two movies he did damn good because they both made sense

Nothing but real shyt from Cam

Essentially Dame saw more money than most ppl he put on but he blew it by doing irresponsible shyt...now wants to guilt trip those same ppl into supporting his crazy spending

Also shows Cam is much more of businessman than Dame despite business being what Dame is supposedly known for. Budgeting and managing money is key in business and personal finances.

Dame was just a street hustler with irresponsible spending habits who lucked into having Jay Z. Doesn't seem to have many of the usual qualities you might expect of a successful businessman e.g good at building/maintaining relationships, managing money etc

Dame is a good marketer. I've come to the realization he's not a real businessman.

Everyone knows that Dame is bad with money. He's said so himself. So Cam isn't really saying anything that hasn't already been said by Dame himself.

Thing is, a part of Dame's thing with being bad with money, is because he wouldn't stop hustling. He was putting his own money into a lot of bad investments. It wasn't just copping lofts and luxury sh*t. He was funding a lot of wack sh*t after Roc broke up. So I don’t think Dame wants to just sit and not work anymore. He's shown that he's always trying to start companies and put money behind sh*t. But a lot of that didn't work.

As far as Cam is concerned. When Un and Epic jerked him for his first couple of albums and he blew both of his advances, the first person he ran to, was Dame. And Dame put up the bread to get Cam off his debt to the label and gave him lawyers to get Cam off Sony and Epic and brought him over to Roc and got him back on his feet financially. So it's weird to see dude saying this about Dame when Dame got him out of a jam that nobody else would help him out of. This game is wild.
:skip: This. Ever since that fakkit got his teeth fixed he been acting brand new.

Cam mostly likely paid Dame back for helping him out so what does else does he need to do? We all are grown men and should be able to take care of ourselves. Killa is telling Dame in a peaceful manner that he needs to stop spending $$$ on stupid sh1t and keep grinding. Dame did put a lot of people on but that doesn't mean they own him for the rest of their lives. Dame paid for their services, they oblige and keep going forward afterwards. They shouldn't be held hostage for $$$ years after working with him.

He didn't pay him back. Cam said Dame did it and only wanted him to have the career he deserved to have. So he became his manager and made sure to look out for him.

Cam was doing bad and couldn't get out of the deal, and owed the label millions. He went to Dame because he said he didn't have anywhere else to go. Un said Dame called him and aggressively told him that what he was doing was foul and that he would make sure Cam got off the label. He put up the money to get Cam released and out of the red. When he came to Roc, Dame signed him for like $4-5 million.

So we can't do the "we all are grown men and should be able to take care of ourselves" thing, and then pretend like Cam didn't go straight to Dame when he himself had money issues and asked for help. He always credited Dame with "teaching him" and helping him get out of the hole financially. So now that Dame is going through his own issues, you can't tell that same man that he needs to work harder when he bailed you out of your own jams and made it comfortable for you. That's weirdo sh*t on Cam's part.

It's not about people "owing" dude.

But if you're down bad, and you come to me and ask me to help you, and I go and put up bread to get you out of a bad situation, help you pay your bills you couldn't pay and then give you a deal for mad millions, you're mad foul to come back later and tell me to "work harder". That's corny sh*t.

Cam was literally on set for Paid in Full, while struggling to get out of his deal and broke, on BET behind the scenes saying, "Thank you for putting me in this movie because you know a n*gga need the money", to Dame. He was the only main cast member who wasn't an actual actor and never acted a day in his life. People who don’t know Dame speak like they do. But that dude always did sh*t for people and didn't expect anything in return. Like somebody else said in here, people act brand new later.
