It wasn't a diss. I'm saying it's crazy how east coast rappers can literally use nursery rhymes and rap cartoonishly, but get respected as lyricists but rappers outside NY get held to a higher standard

Christ not everyone looked up to Pac and wanted to be him especially if you were his age or older.

DMX had that I don’t give a fukk style since dropping demos in the late 80’s early 90’s.

He was in and out of juvenile detention centers/prisons as a teenager while Pac was doing ballet dancing I can assure you X didn’t take Pacs style or attitude lol

I never said he did ….. but I still believe he was influenced by pac in some way music wise ….

Seee if we talking some mc lyrical battle type tip mc then obviously x wins cause that wasn’t pacs lane ….even on a normal lyric tip you could say they not to far from each other both great … but like I said … just based off songs and albums alone pac deffo has the better catalogue and his career was only 5 years vs a dmx 20 + years in the game …. again everyone has there opinions they both great rappers but like I said mase and cam knew dmx hung with him went on tour with him … that right there could come across as a lil bias …. none ov them knew pac or was around him ….does the likes of pac and biggie get hyped a little more then other rappers altho they were both great …. Of course since the whole controversy around there deaths and the whole east vs west thing …..

X was known for battling and that's why Cam and Mase have a different level of respect for him. Guys from that era are going to appreciate a rapper's rapper.

Pac didn't come up in that lane. He wasn't someone who was running around getting busy. Outside of the studio he's not known for his pen.

Pac had freestyle battles with mad people behind the scenes. He would really freestyle off the top tho. Pac was great with his pen. I’m tired of people trying to downplay Pac yo this shyt getting wack. And I’m ALWAYS vouching for X’s pen because in any other thread BESIDE this Pac one right here. nikkas HABITUALLY sleep on X’s pen. Now all of the sudden he this lyrical monster when compared to Pac. nikkas hate Pac on this site.

We used to do that to Pac songs, Celly Cel, Master P, nikkas like that all the time and laugh.

It’s a great way to pass the time when you’re 16 with 10 nikkas on one blunt of brown weed.

Great rappers keep you guessing and dazzle you every time because that’s what real talent does to you
