Better to say nothing at all. Just say he's focused on the Super Bowl and moving past it.
What he said in response to that rings a bit hollow. There were other mobile/athletic QBs in the league. Cunningham, McNair, Culpepper, McNabb. Wilson and Kaep just went to Super Bowl's as well.
Its all good. Gotta focus on the Super Bowl, but idk. Could have come up with a better response than that imo.
Thing is folks focus on him saying he is a black QB. But the bigger part of his comments was that he stated that he is gonna be himself and can't nobody do shyt about it.
The media and folks were pissed he had the nerve to say that.....so they focus on the I am an African-American QB part. When 90% of his comment was that he is gonna be him and he won't let anyone change that.
But this is the dumbing down of America....where one states who they are means that they some how are bringing up race and are racist.
Basically Cam is trying to defuse the situation because the media wants more sound bites to flip the script on and make taking points. Welcome to dumb ass 21st century media and social media.

In the end this is why I don't even fukk with the media when it comes to serious discussions about race. It becomes a dumb ass dog chases tail conversation. Even ththe whole discussion on Cam saying I am an African-American QB is dumb and doesn't really focus one why the backlash.
Anyone that has witnessed this season with an open eye can understand the backlash.
We have a black QB that was the number 1 pick this year win the rookie of the year.
On the other end of the spectrum we have a black QB who has dominated the QB position and who will be the first black QB to win out right the racist AP MVP award. Then on top of that this QB who will win the MVP is favored to win the super bowl (and high probability of winning the Super bowl MVP) on a team that has the best record at 15-1.
This shyt equals total dominance at the QB position (dont forget the 4 black QBs starting in 4 stalraight superbowls). Similar to Obama winning the presidency. There is no where to hide there is no where to run.....all they can do is bytch and moan. Their time is up and they know it. It is the Darkening of America and of the QB position (which is the most cherished sports position and the last one dominated by whites out of the majors team sports that Americans follow).
The backlash was inevitable wheather Cam handed the ball to the referee like Barry Sanders or if he was polished and talked like a politician like McNabb or Wilson.

He's finally having a great season as a passer after 4 mediocre years throwing yet dudes like you are painting the pic that he's the greatest qb we've ever seenHell he had 10 td's and 9 int's halfway through the season and seemed to finally figure it out in the 2nd half yet he's somehow already the hands down best qb
