Somebody in the PR department must have got to him so this doesn't become a bigger deal on Media Day smh

People in the local news outlets Facebook comments all week been on some "Why does he have to make it about race? I don't see color. He lost my respect wahhhhh :sadbron:"
:snoop: They gon talk about it anyway

I just wish they devised a better plan. Now the critique will be about how hollow that comment was.

I should have known something was up when Trey Wingo kept tweeting about having a Cam interview all day. :martin:

I mean if he was told by the owner/coach to chill on those comments...I get it :manny:

I just hope this aint nothing he decided himself. Cause you don't want to be that guy that states a strong opinion and then can't stand on it. Even worse if you have no real understanding of what you're saying..

Its been a lot of brehs writing think pieces in support of Cam only for him to say this.

Like Jay said,

:whoa: Don't fall into that trap is all I'm saying.

But as breh said earlier he normally stands strong on his opinions. So maybe somebody got to him.

Personally I find people who ride the fence like this are sort of disingenuous, especially when they want to change their tune once the heats on. Either stand by your comments if that's what you truly feel as a man or don't say anything at all.

If your thinking Cam is supposed to solve racism by the end of the week your delusional.
Pushing a discusssion on "race in sports" literally during the most important week of his life would be extremely distracting. After this sunday, he can then do what the hell he wants. This week should be all about how he is going to beat that Broncos defense.

He decided to make that statement two weeks before the Super Bowl :yeshrug:

No one ever said anything about solving racism :dwillhuh:.

The great thing is he brought about the discussion of how black QBs are perceived when they display individuality that differs from what the masses are use too.

He's got a Super Bowl to worry about so he didn't need to expound that comment. However, that comment lost a lot of its power by him backtracking. It now turns into a comment that slights other blacks QBs who just played :why:.

I support Cam. I know he's gotta focus on a Super Bowl, I know they probably got to him, but the response should have been better.:manny:

All the Cam haters can shut the fukk up. He made a comment! :manny: . CACS decided to go nuts. If you're not a cac, stop worrying about what their thinking or saying. Its not up to them to drive the race debate.

Le them find something else to obsess about. Next week Cam will get back with em.

Of course the ATL
Lol, I hope people didn't expect Cam to continue to let the controversy go into superbowl week. That's just not realistic.

Anything to defend your hero, huh? Scam's initial comments we're specifically about race and being a black QB, he's backpedalling off those comments b/c he got heat. But I don't expect you or other Panthers fans to ever hold Scam accountable for the shyt he says or does so whatever
