This is cope. He could have extended his career had he changed his playstyle especially as the injuries were robbing him of his arm talent and mobility.
If he got the protection top QBs today do he wouldn’t have needed to. What they let the Broncos do to breh in that rematch was an embarrassment to the league. They’d never replay that game in a public forum with the safety rules in place now.

Not to mention his injuries started from chasing down a turnover. He was just born in the wrong era for his playstyle

i have no problem with him saying that because i hate these either/or questions in general yet there should be regret because he was right there to win the super bowl but player poorly then when there was a chance to at least protect the ball and get possibly another chance to win the game he gave a non effort to recover the ball.

he was that close to being the only qb to ever win a heisman, national title, nfl mvp, and super bowl.

Cam know he aint gettin back in the league or the HOF so he keepin it a buck :mjlol:. I agree with that we OD on chips. Yes its the goal but its also hard, requires good fortune, and you dont have to be a beast on the level Cam was to do it. We get fed the "golly gee well uh ya know awe shucks" shyt that we start buying it. People fantasize about and aspire to be the man. Sure you can have both and everybody would take both but if most folks keeping it a buck they would rather be "that guy".
Imma be honest, as I get older, I understand chasing the numbers and bread. Unless I’m competing for greatest ever, that other shyt ain’t paying my bills. Especially in the Not For Long

Championships are hard to come by. Football is ultimate team sport.

Kost players probably would prefer personal accolades and money over just a ring. Id rather be Calvin Johnson than David Patten

Facts. I mean who do people regard more? Dan Marino or Brad Johnson?

Marino is gonna be forever remembered, even if people talk about "no rings". Brad Johnson 's career is as notable as his last name.

The wr core was terrible. Stewart was the leading back. Cam put that team on his back offensively the defense was great they had like 7 turnovers in the nfc championship game. And it was 6 all pros.
So what does that have to do with all those all pros?

A lot of superbowl teams don’t have that

And it says 8

:yeshrug::yeshrug:
Yeah but Cam was 10x more talented than Trent Dilfer. Cam as it is isn’t exactly remembered like a Dan Marino. What do people talk about more with Cam? His MVP or the fact that he didn’t jump on that football in the SB?

SB champion, most likely SB MVP, retiring Peyton Manning with another SB L >>>>>>> Regular season MVP
