Unity in and of itself isn't an end goal, it's a shared habit that serves a purpose. Without purpose it's all just make-work. You mentioned adaptability previously and I agree it is a necessary skill, absolutely. You filter out the negative and use what has purpose. However, our choices determine who we are, and habits form the core of our ongoing daily choices. What benefits have come from the use of the "n" word, or the oft-dismissive "hotep" label for that matter? How would you say their use has made anyone better?

Without purpose, it's just children running around with scissors bragging about how grown they are and that nobody can make them do otherwise. Inevitably there's more self harm that will come from it than anything.
