And the statement in the op has always applied to cod games. It is not the same as saying "all multiplayer matches will be hosted in dedicated servers". I'm sure they are still working on the particulars, which is why they aren't talking about them.

A month away, Sony doesnt know how games will work on their platform.

They may be using azure, and they are probably still working out the contracts. Which is why they are not talking about it yet.

Here's the thing, you guys are speculating. But what you said is about right. They in competition with BF4
They could give a shyt about PS4 not having dedicated servers, they want to sell THERE game, period, end of story.

To save time, lets just cut the bullshyt. 3cepts (maybe not every single one) are hoping for dedicated servers for all there games too since XB1 has that. And somehow you guys are trying to turn this revelation into "All PS4 games will have it or not all xbox games will have it"

The truth is this threads topic shines ZERO light on either of those "fanboy thoughts/wishes"
Xbox has already been clarified, and PSN is still a mystery on that. But since we a month away, its not a mystery. Its just something PSN will not be about. Who announces new features AFTER all the E3's/Gamecoms/TGS/etc. It doesn't work that way, sony only fanboys are still like "uhhh, maybe by launch"

I really don't understand all the talk about dedicated servers. Maybe its just where I live, but my routers in the basement ps3 on the 2nd floor and I almost never experience lag in any PS game.
