@Originalgangsta317 I just did a workout. I honestly think Im better than you :sas1:. I did 4 girl cross legged push ups, and half a pullup :banderas:. you cant do that:youngsabo:.

:mjcry::snoop: i sucked a lot harder than I thought. I could only do 4 girl pushups and no regulars. I couldnt do a pullup so I used a chair and hanged down and pulled up as much as possible with assistance from my legs. Is that okay:lupe:? Is that how a person learns to do pull ups? But i did 35 tricep dips though:krs:. I have no clue why i did that so well but I'll take that as an achievement:whew:.

:salute:

But that's good,a start is all we ask.

And yea you can improve your pullups doing it that way, or just jumping up there and attempting it until you get em.

Most people go to the gym and use the assistance machine for help with pullups.

But great job on the dips, the stronger your triceps, the better your Pushups will get.

Any other questions just ask.

:salute:

but even though you're doing calisthenics don't you still have to increase the tension?.....are you doing all kinds of variations?.....aesthetically I looked my best after doing p90x. so i'm guessing my body just responds better to calisthenics than heavy weights. I'm a thin dude benching 120 lb dumbells and leg pressing 800. but I still can't get my definition to pop like I want. I just stay with that that wrestler kind of body. I look real muscular and powerful but I want the definition now.

You are increasing the tension,if you go back and read it,I said to always go up in reps but keep the time limit the same

was doing a lot of research and i've settled on this program for now. just gonna use it as an outline and do different variations to where I can only do about 10-15 reps.

The Essential 6 Month Calisthenics Workout Plan | Bar Brothers Groningen For Calisthenics Workout

shyt seems intense, and by the end you should be able to do perfect muscle ups. i'm sacred as fukk to drop the weights completely but fukk it. gotta try something new.

why don't you do both? pretty sure a dude like this does both.

You don't have to get of the weights, but I do recommend doing this for a few months and then going back to weights and see how much stronger you got

honestly man i'm just tired of the aches and pains. my back is all fukked up from weight lifting. for my size i've always been one of the most powerful dudes in the gym. 5'9. 155, benching 120 lb dumbells. squatting 4 plates. and yet, I still can't get the physique I've always wanted. the dude from the youtube page a few posts up is exactly what i'm looking for. I'm done trying to be a super strong ass dude....what's the point If I can't even utilize my power properly....or my muscles are slowing me down. seems like people who do the calisthenics are not only powerful, but much more mobile and durable too. I was just worried cause i've been weight lifting so long. never fully given up since I started and just nervous i'ma lean out too much. but fukk it....i'ma give it a shot and see how it turns out. from all the results I've seen, there's no way my body will get worse.
