No goal post moving. You said they got a play called into caleb at the 20s left in the game. He got sacked at the 32ish second mark. So it took them 12s to decide on a play instead of having a couple already dialed up. On top of that they saw the line and shyt wasnt moving quickly enough so instead of call the TO, they waste more time.


So yea, under a minute to play and taking 12s to get a play called to your QB is not getting him the play on time.
Not calling a time out at any point in that last 32s is on the coaching staff.

Warren seems like the sociopathic type. I don't know how he can look at this team and think Poles deserves to continue being the GM

Aside from prepping for it, this O-Line is pretty bad. Any blitzing is like 400% more effective than normal. But as a coach you gotta prepare for that.

Imagine the PowerPoints and cheesy corporate videos.

You know what's gonna be the real meaty part is Poles trying to sell himself to prevent his firing. How do you pitch "I may have fielded a better team than the record shows, but I clung to my friend and fellow Armstrong clients that routinely fail the players because we shared a vision of winning together"?

The more I think about Poles' tenure here, the more it settles in that he is just knee deep in cronyism and truly played himself potentially out of the GM job. And for what? Because you listened to Armstrong, who tries to staff his clients top to bottom? Because you're good with Eberflus as a friend, and felt you wanted to win with him despite his historically awful winrate?

If Johnson wants him out, well... Since you loved Flus' company so much go sit on the couch with him.
