They're wearing jeans and sneakers so why are durgas an issue?:jbhmm:

Are durags not to be worn outside?:jbhmm:

No it was worn to give you waves or keep your braids in place while you slept. Lazy people made it a style.

we werent allowed to wear du rags at school....u telling me nikkas in pasadena been doing it the whole time :gucci:
This what I'm wondering. Boys not being allowed to wear durags, hats, caps, bandannas, & etc. on their heads is a normal standard dress code rule for school. I don't understand this protest.

Yeah that was some lazy shyt that became fashion statement.

I said that just to educate you I wore my du rag all the time when I was younger

Why is it lazy though? I'd wake up and just go outside with it because it was comfortable. If I was going to a club I might have it on until I get there so I was spinning. If it was cold I'd keep it on under a skull cap so it wouldn't mess up my hair.

Nothing lazy about it.

Sigh one lazy dude started something. Just like that one dude who had people rolling there one pants leg up. I don't know what you are trying to get at. I am not calling you lazy nor those kids and there fashion choice. You seem to not know that originally a du rag was not ment to be worn outside.

I remember durags were cool in the early 2000s

Then around 2010-2016 they were considered bummy to wear outside -- at least in Brooklyn

Now they've made a comeback after nikkas cut off their sponged taper fades to hop BACK on the wave trend.

Just copped me a velvet durag though
