i assume the reason why alot of yall remember a ban on durags is because alot of folks were acting, wanted to be, or were in a gang in the 00s. It seemed like it was trending back then,

Nowadays i dont think thats the issue now. Alot of folks just wearing it cause it goes with what they wear or whatever reason.

I don’t believe in that sorry :yeshrug: , just another group getting special treatment.

And to stick with that topic since my little tangent got us here, if there main point is for affiliation (even though they won’t admit :martin: ) they should definitely ban religious headwear they set trip the most

Just so we're clear, you're saying that America should take away peoples right to practice religious beliefs because they aren't your religious beliefs. One of the pillars of the bill of rights.

Do you coli negroes really understand how identical your talking points are to the same white people that you guys allegedly hate?:francis:

The policy for the durag ban says, “apparel that reasonably could be determined to threaten the health and safety of the school environment if it were worn or displayed on a school campus.” The policy goes on to say, “hats, caps and other head coverings shall not be worn indoors.”

:russell: so take the durag off when you get in the building. When they graduate and have to get legitimate jobs I wonder if they'll complain then about why the boss won't let them wear a durag in the office. No to the contrary they'll be complaining why nobody will hire them. :mjlol: More immature idiots deluding themselves into thinking they're making some conscious stand against the system. :camby: Example#1565656566656 of young idiots thinking they're above rules and any type of enforcement they erroneously claim racism or stereotyping. :camby:This is what happens when you lack mature male figures in the home and community to take the lead. These kids grow up in households where their mothers let them have free reign and the second they get a little hair on their chin all of a sudden they think they can say no to legitimate authority figures.

You're a white man though, you're supposed to say all this racist shyt. Once again sticking your pink nose in black issues that don't concern you. Negged cac.

You really just compared religion based head garbs to a durag.

No fam... just no.
The problem with this is now we're playing the "what is culture?" game. I'm not going to sit here and tell black boys that stuff they do is bullshyt, while other groups get to be "spiritual". That's a fukked up message to send. Why don't they ban teachers wearing suits because it makes them look like Bernie Madeoff. Or ban female teachers from dressing like Martha Stewart's jailbird ass.

But the black kids shyt gotta be ghetto and criminal. :stopitslime:

Am I trippin but when did schools allow durags in the first place :dwillhuh: you couldn't rock durags or hats at my HS in the mid 00s either....they even tried to enforce a tuck your shirt in policy but that didn't work most of the time lol
Yeah im 32 in NC you never could wear hats when I was in school of anykind. That was one silly ass rule though.
