Y’all are missing the point here, even the Black principal was out there protesting.

The policy actually states is no hats or headscarves should be worn indoors period. Which is another issue.

HOWEVER, the main reason why they’re protesting is because the administration’s reasoning behind the durag ban is that they’re “gang affiliated”

And we all know that’s code word for BLACK, specifically BLACK BOYS.

If a whole bunch of white boys wore skullcaps it would be a different fukking story from the administration. That’s textbook DISCRIMINATION.

The point is that black boys are held to a different standard bc of old ass, discriminatory “reasoning” that gangs are an epidemic and that all black boys are in gangs.

And if you c00ns can’t see past this district’s racist ass “reasoning” then you’re apart of the fukkin problem :pacspit:

My HS was 99% Black, had like 1 White boy I ever seen. Still had a durag ban :yeshrug: and I don't think there's nothing wrong with that. Why the fukk you need to wear a durag in class all day for?

We couldn't wear hats, or durags in high school, but we could wear them to school, and take them off to put in our lockers before class. They weren't banned from the building, and we put them back on at the end of the day. None of the faculty said anything when we were in the hall, before or after school. Men not wearing head coverings outside of religious reasons is the norm in most professional environments, including school. These kids need to get used to it now.

We did a similar thing on a much smaller scale. It’s some bullshyt.

White girls can wear all types of bandanas and headbands when their hair is fukked up :martin:

Jews and Muslim can cover their heads over some make believe shyt :scusthov:

And yet if a young nikka was wolfin or didn’t have a line up I can’t wear my durag cape in or cape out? FOH :camby:

I don’t believe in that sorry :yeshrug: , just another group getting special treatment.

And to stick with that topic since my little tangent got us here, if there main point is for affiliation (even though they won’t admit :martin: ) they should definitely ban religious headwear they set trip the most

hittin all those bullet points:mjpls:

Somebody needs to. Cuz those kids are completely misguided walking out of class like that. The irony is Black kids especially males need to work harder in school than other races and those kids are fighting for the right to wear a durag. :beli: All kinds of priorities fukked up.
