I’m sure that this has already been brought up, but why the fukk do trans people think that they should / will have every demand that they make by way of ‘rights’ granted, and without question? No other groups seem to have the same lack of self-awareness and sense of entitlement, and that is an incredible thing to say when white women appear on that list…!!

Whilst I agree with your point, and it is well made and received, the Dems are in a load of fukking trouble. They need to find a better message, and a better way to deliver it because it failed, and badly, only a few months ago.

It is ages until the next US presidential, and I’d imagine that Newsome wants to get his more mainstream & voter-friendly message across to voters who switched to Trump, seemingly due to the well-intentioned but badly taken positions the Dems adopted in the ‘culture wars’. I’d imagine that he might feel that Kirk’s platform is a good one to reach some of those on. I couldn’t watch Kirk’s nonsense & hate without taking a hammer to my computer, so I don’t know if he’s right on that.

However, and you are totally correct, if this is an ongoing & regular appearance from Newsome, particularly as the next prez race starts for nominations & then the race itself, then he has marked his card & deserves all of the disaster & derision which will follow.

Kirk is a piece of shyt, full-on white supremacist, and I can only hope for the slowest, most painful, yet catatonic, of deaths upon him. He is painfully fukking dumb, too. Nothing good can come from an association with someone like him.

Newsome is a smart & slippery prick, though, so I would hope that this is a one-time thing, or a least the most minimum of interactions. The Dems have to win elections in order to affect meaningful change & hopefully start to do something about these WS influencers who peddle their shyt with impunity. Newsom won a lot of the silent majority who supports Trump on immigration and trans issues. Yall continue to be surprised by these things when we are trying to prevent further erosion of democratic popular support.
