:gucci: U gonna need to explain this one

They're squeezing the little guy out so it's becoming pure corporate. Because of this they're growing strains that smell better to attract dumb squares. That's why we don't see weed that stinks like a cats ass. But that stuff was the most powerful stuff and had different effects. Also since it's commercial, taking one more week or two to harvest means alot of millions lost. Therefore they're harvesting as early as possible and curing as fast as possible.

I'm not going to complain about resell culture as I'm in on it as well and quite honestly, a lot of us are. We just aren't on the level of other resellers out here.

If you could easily flip something for hundreds of dollars by just putting a label on a box, then you'd do it too and would be lying if you insisted otherwise.....
That’s not the point. The majority of black sneaker enthusiasts don’t have resources to compete with the white and Asian scalpers who’ve overtaken this hobby.

This shyt is misleading. Even in the late 2000s when I was in HS and collecting shoes heavy they were hard to get. You didn’t see 6 people sitting together with the same shoes unless they were some shyt no one liked.

BUT despite that, the shoe game definitely is worse than back then. Cacs ruined certain aspects of it.

Cacs did ruin the culture but not reselling cacs more like the brand cacs themselves people been reselling even back in the early 2000’s when bootlegs and knockoffs were wild.

But now these brands wanna make it hard to get shoes and allow bots to move out the regular buyers and now the whole shyt is fukked

No one was ever easily getting concords unless they knew someone who could backdoor them a pair.:mjlol:. I remember waiting outside the mall for 7 hours in the cold for bred 11s and I didn't get shyt:mjcry:

It's instagram making what was once a niche hobby mainstream

Cacs ruin everything. They ruined weed too, but unless you smoke an ounce a week you won't be able to tell.

I burn an ounce a week lol what you mean they ruined it? I'm assuming all these puss ass names and "flavors"?

Yup I'm not an expert but this is how I see it. Cacs, Asians and plenty of black folks too have been in the rare sneaker collecting/resale game for decades.

The difference now is that Nike copied the exclusive business model to sell regular ass Jordans that black folks had been wearing since the 80's
