Cacs getting son'd when they try to pull the "entitlement card"

I'm at work at my desk. some cac comes in and asks if he can use my phone.

I'm not a receptionist mind you I have a small office but its in a university across from the advising center so students come in all the time thinking I'm there to help them.
(I'm actually an assistant webmaster the but I digress)
So he asks to use my phone and I said no
He's like but but they always let me use the phone.

me who is they? this is my phone and I'm busy working.

he's like can you call someone to ask because I think you're suppose to let me....

I interrupt him call who? Look I'm not letting you use my phone.
If you wanna make a call you need to get yourself a phone or use a payphone. now unless you need any technical support I gonna have to ask you to please leave me to my work. because I'm very busy keeping this campus running.

he looks at me like . then says okay and rolls his eyes in a condescending manner as if I should be lucky enough to let him use my phone.

(smh as im typing this somebody literally approaches and asks the same question.)

That would have made it difficult for me to keep my cool right there.

I would keep the door closed but I don't have any windows and I get uncomfortable in such a confined space

but what I don't understand is how so many people don't have a cell phone. or at least friends that have a cell phone.
most of the time I end up letting them use my cell phone because I don't want to tie up the line at work because I get a lot of panicky calls from professors.
also I don't get to choose my office it came with the position.
on occasion I can work from home but im far less productive.

because the semester is almost over and it seems like every professor bounces and is never heard from again until next year.
so I'm trying my best to get things done before they leave in case I need any feedback.
and how am I being a jerk for not letting some stranger use my office supplies?
if you're working at mc donalds and some customer comes into the kitchen nd asks you if they can use your frier real quick would you say yes? or would you say no continue using it to do your job?

Crocs at the gym?! I've seen people wear dress shoes...and this one guy stunk up the entire place when I used to train. I told my trainer that she should say something to him cause it literally made people gag - the smell was awful. She was too nice to say something smh if I worked there, I would have told him he has to take care of his problem because it's creating an undesirable environment for others.
