Agree with dude. 09 nuggets with wade or bron is a title contender. Carmelo just isn’t good enough
denver wouid be a title contender with bron but they wouldnt win shyt. bron doesnt win chips unless he has 2 superstars/allstars in their prime on his team. denver never had that

check wade's playoff Record and overall success without shaq and lebron..and thats with him playin in the EAST LMAO... He wouldnt of done shyt in denver

Exactly. But Wade is supposed to make that Nuggets team a title contender with Jr Smith/Andre Miller/Chauncey as his #2

TYRONE GA!
I really like Jokic. He is a great team player. I was watching the way the offense runs through him on the game last night. The team makeup gels around him perfectly. Him and Murray play really well together as with the other players. This version of him could be better than Melo as far as team success but when you are talking all time Nugget or NBA....:comeon: cac never heard of Alex English or David Thompson :gucci:

Jokic just getting to Fat Lever status, much less Melo

@Basaglia they disrespecting da Gawd Fat Lever :birdman:

What does the East have to do with anything my guy? Melo could never do what Wade did in the East :mjlol:

I'd like to see Melo carry a team with his second option is rookie Mike Beasley to the playoffs :comeon:

I'd like to see him torch a 64 win Detroit team in a conference Finals :heh:

Wade just happened to have Shaq and LeBron. An older Shaq at that. Melo is not on Wade's level and that Denver team would be much better with Wade over Melo.

Yes, because he's on a different level than Melo peak for peak :mjlol:

The Nuggets were already title contenders it's just that Melo was out here shooting 3 of 16 and shyt in the middle of the series that they couldn't win :mjlol:

His number two was Chauncey Billups. 5x All-Star, Finals MVP, 4x All-NBA, 4x All-Defense, leader and floor general of a team that went to 5 conference Finals, not Andre Miller and not J.R. Smith. :mjlol:

He had Iverson who was the actual leading scorer of the team when he played with Melo at over 26 points per game but keep acting like he didn't have a squad :dead:

Carmelo needs to be viewed in the proper perspective.

Melo's value as a basketball player is largely as a scorer, but little else.
But if his shot wasn't falling, there was no other way for him to make an impact, and therefore no other way to help the team to win. That limits how far you can carry a team.

Someone like Jokic can have a bad shooting night but still get his teammates involved, dominate on the defensive end and run the offense.

But it's hard for a lot of fans to look at a goofy, tall white guy who doesn't have flashy dunks or a pretty fadeaway or a sexy crossover and say he's better than XYZ player who does have all those things.

So if your definition of better revolves around how aesthetically pleasing a player's game or skill set looks, you're going to miss all of the other things that correlate to winning...and thus makes you a more valuable asset....and in turn truly makes you great.
