White people act like it’s virtually impossible, or rare that a black person is qualified for any decent position.

“The best person for the job” just means the white person they prefer to work with.

They really take it personally when we’re anything other than minimum wage workers. They bash us, claim we’re lazy, then when we work, they get mad that we “took” a position they feel entitled to.

I seriously doubt this is happening. Promotions suck at most companies and you have to switch companies to advance most of the time. Especially larger companies.

This is just white men being babies about it and trying to blame black people.

Yep.

Because it’s ingrained in some of them since they were little. Some will say “you know what, he worked hard for it, I’m not mad”. But some can’t believe or fathom the idea or a black person lapping them in their field.

One of the former employees said this has been going on over five years under the tenure of the current Amex CEO who is white. But five years ago Kenneth Chennault was CEO and Chairman of Amex.

No doubt this is the fruits of the work Kenneth Chennault put in during his tenure at the company, which is why it’s important that we have black CEOs of Fortune 500s because they can change the culture.

Which is crazy, cuz I work with so many unremarkable CaCs making 6 figures for no good reason at all :mindblown:

Boo hoo

Stop blaming your problems on “the man” and work harder. You should be trying to emulate that person that’s getting all the accolades you think you deserve.
